The strong communities are strong in that they play well and also have a sense of COMMUNITY.

The strong communities are also the ones that know their limits and know what their capable of. I’m not here to insult anyone here or even say you’re terrible players, I’m just saying that we’re not much compared to other communities. I mean, to me, saying we’re not is like saying that Botswana is capable of conquering all of Africa and then Europe. Though like Botswana, we’re alright people. But in certain aspects, particularly our combat abilities, we aren’t as good as others and pretending we are would be silly.
And personally, I think it’s rather shallow minded to show bias for someone for their nationality. I have nothing against community or patriotism, but I’m not someone who follows such things blindly because I just so happen to be a native there. You guys can improve, I’m sure, but unless we somehow get a huge population boost in the province and everyone starts boosting their games up to the point that you utterly destroy me and Daniel I don’t think our scene will be going anywhere big.
Really, I think it’s more our small population and the small scale interest of the game in the province than anything else. Heh.
Fair enough. Albeit, I consider the playerbase much more broadly than that and I don’t think ignoring them is really viable in terms of how we evaluate ourselves as players. Personally, I would travel to those places and play with people there. But you know, even if with the talents, not everyone is capable of doing so.
Also, I have beaten everyone here before at some point. I’ve played a lot of SSFIV. I don’t think anyone here can really deny I know my stuff. Of course, I’m first to say that I’m certainly not a pro either. Neither is Daniel. But it’s certainly wrong of you to tell me that I shouldn’t consider players beyond here and NB. I’m willing to play anyone, even if it results in me being utterly destroyed.
