Time to necro this thread cuz I picked up Marduk not too long ago.

Funfact: this is the first time I try a grappler type character in any fighting game ever made. :eek:
btw A lot of people wake up teleport/backdash on my Marduk. What would be the best way to punish them? I was hoping DLTD would catch backdashers but sadly it doesn’t seem to work.
St.HP and St.HK work great to punish backdash with the right timing. Spinning backfist too but only if you’re confident with the read since its very punishable otherwise.
Edit: I forgot to add that DLTD and Mount Rush is getting buffed in v2013 so that it connects on airborne opponents. This means there is potential for OS technology on wakeup backdashes/jumps. Not for teleports though since there isn’t an airborne phase but I suppose you could delay something so it catches them when they’re in recovery frames.
<br><br>The marduk subforum needs to come back to life! I’ve started using duck since 2013 cuz my fav grapplers (hugo and gief) were nerfed to oblivian, I feel marduk is the strongest grappler in the game now, and his ambigious crossup mk is terrific! With the right timing I’ve found that it becomes a not-crossup yet crossups, as in you still have to block it like non-crossup but after he lands he ends up on the other side.<br><br>Here’s a vid of me vs Arturo, I got a little too greedy in that 2nd round trying to put him away lol.<br><br>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EH4wUj3hjU<br>

I need to work on figuring out some sort of OS for that. I do like that I can straight-up DLTD a backdash if I smell it now. That feels SOOO GOOD lol.
