Guys, I hate to break it to you, but I don’t think I’ll be able to do FR this year. =( I would have to miss THREE full days of school, and that’s the week before midterms. There are papers due around that time as well, so I won’t be able to afford that.
Looks like I might be gunning for Gamestop top 16, given that’s just on Saturday and Round 3 isn’t all that far from me…

Thanks for the heads up, i was checking to see if all characters are still going to be legal since the last time i checked this thread, i heard that Seth & Gouken were going to be allowed for play in this tourney, although it threw me off since it was changed like a month before the tournament, oh well, that means i just have to practice against them

There should be, but you may want to get a move-on. The block of rooms will sit there for almost a year, and then starting about 2 weeks out (which is about now) they start going like hotcakes. Been like that the past few years there have been blocks of discounted rooms, anyway. I think people want to be absolutely sure nothing is going to come up before they reserve.
[EDIT: Don’t get me wrong - you can still come even if the rooms on-site all get taken. There is a Red Roof about 6-7 miles away at the “old” spot, and more hotels in between. If there is not some big convention or other tournament going on in ATL same time, you should be fine.
Very hard to beat an on-site room, though. Especially at that price!]
