I thought you SMASH BROS. people would like this…
$20 3/5. I don’t really have a preference for terms if you want to do it differently.
Larry, sorry man, I forgot 98UM. Definitely playing that.
Guys, I have not been to any major fighting game tournaments like this one besides my local tournament scene. I think the time for me has come, however, I have a question regarding directions.
I live in Miami, my car is not in great shape so I can’t make the drive there and I don’t have the money right now to fly there. So my next option is to take a passenger train to ATL, so my question is: Does anyone coming from Miami know of a train route I can take that would be the easiest and most convenient way to get to Final Round?
Well 1st I would like to say welcome to Final Round sir.:wgrin: The easiest and cheapest way is greyhound, but it takes a long time to get here. A flight to the ATL will prolly cost a little bit more, but well worth it due to the short time of travel. The train takes a little bit short than the Bus, but cost almost as much as the flight. I would fly if I was you. It’s really easy to get from the airport to the hotel. I have the directions on the 1st page of this thread. It’s near the top of the 1st post. but here is a copy of the directions:
Also directions from the airport
Get on the public train system from the airport. The public train system is called ***“MARTA”! ***You will take the "DORAVILLE" train to the "DORAVILLE" station! Call the hotel so they can pick you up with the shuttle. If you want you can walk to the hotel also. Get off the train and walk down to the road outside of the doraville train station. Cross over the road and head down hill towards buford hwy. You should see the doraville police station as you walk down the hill on the right hand side. When you get to “buford hwy” turn left. Then go until you get to a WAFFLE HOUSE ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD. You turn right at the waffle house. and you should see the Holiday inn in the cut! Easy if you want to walk from the station.
Oh yea and HD remix quals will still be at FR12.
A train is just as, if not more, expensive than a plane ticket.
I had to cancel and re-book because of the extra day that was added, so I totally forgot. I blame Larry. =p
 Don’t blame me because you can’t read son!:arazz:
It was 3 days from the jump.:looney:
So when are you getting in town yo? I’m going to need alot of bison trainning on psn since i’m a couple of months behind in learning the sf4 gameplay.
So many of my favorite characters are in sf4 that I don’t know who to use besides blanka.:looney::karate:
I’ll be in on Thursday afternoon wandering the hotel.
Ok cool. remember you said top 8 or bust is sf4!
Thanks a ton Shin, this is exactly what I was looking for. Well I guess train is out of the picture (thought it would be cheapest for some reason), so now I will look at my Greyhound or flight options. Gonna do some searching and see if I find some affordable flights. Thanks for the directions also, very easy to follow. Will be my first time in ATL so didn’t wanna get lost.
get a greyhound ticket one week in advance and it’s 99 bucks
You better not lose YOUR TICKET THIS YEAR YO!!!11:looney:
hey can you change my name from kapital instead of empire, Larry? Thankssss
Hey, please take my name off of KOF98UM (#4), and 3S (#7), and SC4 (#1).
And to anyone that is competing in the Gamestop SF4 tournament and gets to the 3rd round, it’ll be on the same day (Saturday) as Final Round, so what I wanted to know (if anyone knows), if we qualify out of state, can we go to the one in Atlanta for the 3rd round? (Its only 7 minutes from the FRXII location)
