Hey Larry - I wanted to humbly suggest that you check on the FR room reservation situation if you haven’t already done so. I know you’ve been dealing with this hotel for the past 4 years, and I would hope that they wouldn’t do you grimy… but you can assume nothing.

I really hope they aren’t telling people that all rooms are booked when they call, and then looking to backcharge you for rooms after charging people the regular rate. The economy is so bad that I could see an establishment trying to pull a fast one that way; trying to have their cake + eat it too.

Hate to come across as having bad faith in the hotel… but again, you can assume nothing. I just don’t want to see you get burned on this!!

Ok I just got off the phone with the hotel and I didn’t talk with the event manager, but I did talk to the desk clerk that has been working at the hotel for 3 years and he looked up the rooms and we still had plenty of rooms under the Final Round 12 event. The people that got charged more than the 69.99 per night needs to call the hotel RIGHT NOW if you want to get your room reduced to the correct price! This guy knows what he is doing and i’m guessing someone new was working the front desk today and fucked up and gave ya’ll the wrong room rates. Call right now if you want to reserve a room. MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM YOUR WITH THE FINAL ROUND 12 GROUP!

The only spot that is taken is Dreamtr because he is the captain of the SE team. The other 4 spots are up for grabs, but only 2 are up for grabs at FR12. The other 2 will be up for grabs at his arcade in nashville TBA. I’ll find out what characarter he is going to use and then go from there.

I went to the hotel today, because I wanted to get to the bottom of this shit and from what I read on this paper I only have 6 rooms left and only 1 of them are open on saturday. Friday is all booked up at 60 rooms, but if anyone wants to get rooms I talked to the evening desk guy and his name is Jay. Ask for him when making the reservations. They told me they would add more hotel rooms when I asked but when I left no more was added. The people need to try and call in the evening to get JaY. He’s been working there since we have been at that hotel so he knows the deal. I won’t rule out people not saying they are booked up and trying to be shady, but as of right now there’s only 1 room avalible on saturday and none on friday under the FR12 rate.

I will call them and have them add some more rooms at the FR12 rate if needed. I want to make sure people are telling them that they want to make an "IN HOUSE Reservation" when they book a room for FR12. If they don’t they will transfer you to the national holiday inn person and they don’t know shit about my discount at that hotel because final round is a special event with a special rate that was agreed apon due to my loyal service.

I didn’t ask what was available, but I said I needed two rooms for two nights for the Final Round event, and he got me both rooms at the $69.99 a night rate. Looks like all is good.
