I read the rules up and down months ago and swear to god I still thought CvS2 would still be on PS2.
So it’s not like I didn’t read it until 2 days ago…the change from the standard PS2 to DC version should have been highlighted if it was just one sentence out of the WALL OF TEXT in the first post.
Havoc is right in that if you guys were out of your way to state that A3, ST, and 3S weren’t supposed to be on PS2, you should’ve done the same for CvS2.
The PS2 version has been the standard since last EVO…when players sign up they assume the standard rules apply unless otherwise stated.
Check this out, CvS2 will be on the Sega Dreamcast. It has always been on the DreamCast at FR since it was released on the console. It was on the DC last year and it was stated when I made this thread over 7 months ago that it would be on the DC. It’s really unfair to ask someone to change things ***2 fucking days ***before the tournament, when all you had to do is read the 1st post. I’m all with trying to make thing better, but this is very unfair to bitch and complain this late in the process. To tell you the truth the only person I know in the ATL that had cvs2 on the ps2 has moved to Va. now. (Epsilon_) It’s not like it’s as bad as the 3rd strike version on DC.

If someone brings the ps2 with cvs2 I may put it on, but I don’t want 20 people wanting to play the ps2 version only at FRX. That’s the same reason why 3s won’t be on arcade and console. People starting to argue over which version they would rather play. That will hold up the CvS2 tournament and you all know that CVS2 is the ***LONGEST FUCKING TOURNAMENT GAME EVER TO COMPLETE IN THE HISTORY OF FIGHTING GAMES!!! ***Unless atleast 5-6 people that have and lend us ***ps2 with cvs2 ***for the tournament it’s going to be on DC. Well FRX isn’t EVO I’m not apart of the evo staff, so whatever standard they set I wouldn’t know about it sir, but I do know what the FinalRound Standard is sir. CvS2 and MvC2 has and always and will be on the DC until my DC die’s.:lol: I don’t know what thread your reading, but I’VE NEVER POSTED CVS2 WOULD BE PLAYED ON THE PS2 AT FRX OR ANY PREVIOUS FINALROUND, NEVER! Don’t be mad at me because you didn’t see it in the 1st post of this thread that cvs2 was on the DC until someone else brought it up. I did change the game list, but the only reason I changed the game listing because I like the EVO format, but I never changed the systems in which the games would be played on. I had those games listed 7 months ago sir.
The only thing i’ve changed is 3S going from arcade to ps2 console due to not enough arcade cab’s donated this year because of bitchin and whinning like what’s going on right now!!! This is the same type of shit that piss other people off, so they wouldn’t donate their cabs this year. Some people have donated their personal shit to FR for years and they don’t get paid for this. They do it for the love, but why bring their shit +100-500 miles to the ATL when people are going to whin and bitch about it? IMO it seems like people are bitching just to bitch now. I hope this doesn’t change your mind about entering the cvs2 tournament if it’s on DC, but if it does i’ll understand.
