How did you register online without paypal or credit card? If you only filled out the form, but do not have a receipt showing payment, you are not registered for the tournament.

Kineda- there is a problem with the pool A in MK9. My tag is WoundCowboy. Michaelangelo and I live 10 minutes away from each other and we are sparring partners, yet we are very close on the bracket. We should be on opposite ends of the bracket. Thanks.

Sorry, none of the 20+ NCR staff are MK players and would not have known you and Michaelangelo are sparring partners. You should be clear now from 1st or 2nd round play.
FYI. I requested the MK brackets be seeded by the TestYourMight, since we had no experts on hand. They were kind enough to help provide the list of top players to be separated in the pools.
We try our absolute best to separate folks that practice often together (if we know), but at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if your sparring partner is Daigo Umehara. If you’re not a known/top player, you’re not seeded. Ever hear of the story of two brothers who had to play each other at EVO and could do nothing about it? I believe they knocked each other out of pools. Def sucks… want to avoid that? Become a top player and get seeded.
Also we have to take your word that you’re sparring partners. If everyone did that, the brackets would be mayhem just to avoid certain matches. We’ll make an exception in this case since after looking up your addresses, you do live right next to each other.
And one more thing. With larger brackets, it’s easier to separate folks. MK has 27 people, which makes it a little difficult. Hopefully, there’s some additional on-site registration for this game. 
All true but you had our addresses… I would think that you guys would organize the brackets by region. Thank-you for the reseeding though.

We do seed by region, but with a 14 man bracket. It’s a little harder to separate people. We can guarantee first round separation (which is what we did) but not second unless you’re seeded. Anyways, thanks for the headsup, and good luck at the tournament this weekend.
