No line up yet? Camman!!! EVO already has hiz out!!!
I be in SSF4AE 12 , KOF 13 and maybe tekken!
Now I wish I lived in NorCal! I’ve been playing EXVS since the arcade release so I’ve got a year of practice under my belt. ;p I’ve also played GvG and Next in JP arcades too.
Any lodging specials going on for this event? Also, what is the closest lodging near the university?
I think the closest is probably 2 miles away. Probably going to have to use MUNI or something if you don’t drive there.
I go there… this is boss.
oh wow another norcal regionals to be excited about! even though i no longer play, i still remember the great times in the gaming community that made me who i am today. Some people realize who they are through sports, hobbies, or maybe a book. It wasn’t until I played mvc2 that I started really thinking critically about everything around me. I hated school because I couldn’t really grasp its depth. Marvel is what changed my train of thought into something deeper. Not only did I ask why I lost or how to beat such and such charater/opponents in video games, but it layed a foundation on how to succeed in other aspects. Many may question their childs video gaming hobby because its not respected like a sport or real recreation. But I will always speak about it in pride. Hope I can attend to show my respects.
ON1 Gaming will be there fosho!
Early bird registration $25 until Feb 3, 2012. Register now and save!

will there be a ST or HDR tournament by any chance?
I’ve been to SFSU only to get games in at Rack N Cue.
What’s the parking situation like for an event like this? I know normally there is random street parking, but will campus parking be available for this?
No decisions have been made on any side tourneys yet or BYOC stuff. It’ll depend on space and time if we can hold any since we’re running 6 major games this year.
There’s free street parking on the weekends, and there’s also two garages on campus that cost $6/day for all-day parking. SFSU will also be on spring break still, so there should be plenty of street parking available.
The tournament is in Jack Adams Hall on the 3rd floor of the Caesar Chavez Student Union. This is not in the game center downstairs but a full auditorium with stage and 5600+ sq. ft of space. Much larger than Domain and Embassy Suites from previous years.
For those looking for lodging, there’s 3 motels next to the SF zoo which are about a 20 minute walk, 10 minute bike ride, or 5 minute car ride away. There’s also a bus stop for the 18 line right next to these motels which will take you right to SF state.
there’s a Day’s Inn on 44th and sloat, Robert’s Motel on 46th and sloat, and Ocean Park Motel on 46th and Vicente. This is probably the closest lodging to SF state.
I guess the games are also affecting any team tournament opportunities right?
Chyea! Seattle is rolling down for this. See you guys there!
Yoooooooosshhhh, FAME has registered, my legend will start on March 24th Moua HA HA HA HA
Sup i registered last week and paid for SSF4 AE12, and now that I have more money, I wanted to add more Games. Do I have to register again by paying $25 to add more games?
