This depends on if you register online or not. If you register online we will do our best to seperate players by region or click/teams, but if you show up at the door and register you will be placed in the bracket were you fit. Of course we aren’t going to purposely put you up against your friend in the 1st round, but you run the risk of having to play against them if you and your friend don’t register online. The only way you can make sure we will seperate you from the people in your area is that you register online. If you register at the door you will be just another name to put in the brackets/pools, but if you register online we will put you in the system according to all of the info you give us. Also you need to make sure you put your location when registering online.
The key to making the brackets/pools is to get the majority of the players to sign up online so we can have the majority of the pools/brackets done by thursday evening. On friday during at the door registration we will just add people in the 1st available spot in the pool/brackets. If you don’t register online you will have no one but yourself to blame if you have to play against someone you always play against within the 1st 3 rounds! So I advise everyone that KNOW they are coming to FRXV to online register! Who wants to come a major and play their friend in the 1st 3 rounds? I know I wouldn’t but that’s not up to me.

I want to let people know just incase they [SIZE=7]HAVE NOT read the general rules of FRXV for controllers, wireless ps3 controllers are BANNED at FRXV just like they are BANNED AT EVO2K12. THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE LAST ATTEMPT TO GET THE WORD OUT :

They are too much of a headache during a major event and atleast 10 random pauses a day comes from someone not desyncing their ps3 pads. The madcats wireless pad with the usb hub are not ban because they work like a bluetooth. Once you take the usb hub out the controller has no signal to the ps3![/SIZE]
If you can prove you have done this to your controller then we will allow you to use them. We will have a stick/pad mod person on the main floor of FRXV to get that done if you need it done. I don’t know what he charges for that, but atleast you can get it done if you’re not sure how to disconnect the battery in the ps3 pad.
Not to be an ass or anything and try to correct you but I think the madcatz pads don’t cause issues b/c it has an infrared dongle, the ps3 causes hellah headaches b/c they use bluetooth to sync into it.
Hey everyone, you still have 3 weeks left until FR; if you use a ps3 pad; your best bet is to use a ps2 pad and then by an unpin converter from LAUGH… You can get one real quick if you order now.

Hey man the easiest way to geto the hotel from the airport is to take the local transit system. Our train is called MARTA. It cost $2.50 to ride and there is a station with a train at the airport that will take you to the hotel. Check out the following website for location of stations and where you have to goto.
There are 2 MARTA stations within a mile of the event hotel and you can call the hotel shuttle to pick you up from the train station if you have a room booked under the Final Round group rate. I hope this helps you out sir.

If you Online register this will help the tournament START ON TIME!!! We can also get the brackets/pool assignments out quicker if the majority of the players register online. The main 2 things that delay any tournament are:
1: at the door registration
2: team tournament running late.

Ey shin I registered online back in December/January before my full college schedule was out for Spring, and I just found out I’m going to have a test on Thursday and Friday of Final Round (spring break is that following week so they put it all before we go on break)
During FINAL ROUND XV The hotel wireless internet is not free, but we have it at a reduce rate for those that have reserved a room under the FINAL ROUND GROUP. The wireless internet rate is $5.95 per day in your room under the Final Round group. Please make sure you recieve the correct rate if you order it for your room.
There is no OFFICIAL ST tournament at FRXV. I know, I know Final Round is KNOWN for it’s retro games tournaments, but it will have to cut back on offcial tournaments due to the shear size we think FRXV will be. With that said I know rekkaken stated he would run an ST side tournament on my Cabinet on friday for those that are interested!
