They can range from kinda mild to more than 10,000 Scoville units. I’ve had a variety called Lumbre that were hotter and more tenacious than any jalapeno or serrano I’ve ever had. But the flavor is amazing. They definitely don’t get as hot as a habanero.
August and September is chile season around here. You can smell roasted chile permeating the air all over, and it’s mouth watering.
What’s cool is that even bigger chains like Dominos and Papa John’s have green chile listed on their menus. I haven’t had shitty commercial pizza in a long time, but it’s cool that chile is a staple topping for pizza around here.
Edit: I dug around and the Lumbres are a variety of the New Mexico XX Hot- they can get up to 70,000 Scoville units. Better call the fire department.
Omg, I love pineapple pizza, however, all my family hates it) Because of my great love of pizza and other fast food, I am gaining weight so quickly. And as we are now all sitting in quarantine, I cannot even imagine what we will look like after the spring is over. For example, I lie at home all day and do nothing. But recently I read a useful article https://www.docarzt.com/best-nootropics/ about nutrition and fat-burners, which, as they say on the Internet, really helps to lose weight. Do you believe that? I don’t believe it at all.
