Man allegedly killed stepfather with atomic wedgie

An Oklahoma man has been arrested on charges stemming from an incident that resulted in the death of his stepfather. Brad Davis says that he jumped his stepfather, Denver Lee St. Clair, giving the man an atomic wedgie last month, pulling his stepfather’s underwear up his back and over his head.

Apparently, the waistband was around St. Clair’s neck when he fell and hit his head, eventually dying by blunt force trauma and asphyxiation.

Booth said Davis told investigators that he went to his stepfather’s residence and his stepfather “jumped him.”

St. Clair had a head wound and appeared to have been in a fight. The underwear St. Clair was wearing had been pulled up his back and over his head, leaving the waistband around his neck. Booth said it was the first time he had ever heard of someone being killed by a pair of underwear.

Back in 2008, St. Clair’s wife—Davis’ mother—had filed a report indicating that her husband had grabbed her by the neck and thrown her through a bathroom door after she found him embracing a “drinking buddy” in a sexual way.

A domestic assault and battery misdemeanor case against Denver St. Clair filed in Pottawatomie County District Court that year was dismissed, according to the Oklahoma Supreme Court Network website.
