Well, the scene is pretty OK I guess. Just that there this once, this guy was losing matches. Really bad and ran out of tokens. He went over to get some more tokens and the BITCH literally threw the tokens at him. He got pissed off and just smashed the counter’s glass. Haha. We were all cheering when he did that. Guess he’s the only one who had the guts. And he’s a gay. Haha.

ok…so I’m back in KL and I played some games today. I was the guy who kept jumping randomly, the guy who couldn’t block high to save his life. The guy who loves to see an mp srk whiffed after 3 shorts. Sorry if I came off as if I had some skill in CvS2, but I seriously cannot play on japanese sticks. Feels just like playing in Japan all over again…to the point where I’m considering quitting until I get back to America =(
I’ll try to practice for a few more days, but if my hands are still stubborn, then it’s GG for real…
I am no longer interested in attempting CvS2 on Japanese sticks. I’ll still go for ST and HF, but maybe once a week if that. So here’s my new question: where can I find a copy of CvS2 for PS2? I would prefer a legit purchase but I guess bootleg stores are cool too.
Sorry to dig an old thread up, but I’ll be going back to KL for a month on the 21st nov if anyone’s keen for some mvc2. Can play other games too, but not so good.
This is a long shot, but if anyone else is interested in going to the CvS2 tourney in Singapore on the 26th, I will be there. I’ll be staying at a hostel and taking a bus back to KL the next day, so if anyone wants to tag along we could save money at the hostel. HOLY CRAP the entire Capcom arcade at Sungei Wang is GONE. I went today and saw nothing but concrete and some suits inspecting the place, presumably for its new function…
The bad news is, no more dedicated Capcom center. The good news is, no more dealing with that ULTRA-BITCH that made the gaming experience so unpleasant! I hated dealing with her. God she was terrible.
More good news: All of the games that they had, which includes CvS2 and 3rd Strike, have been available for play at Berjaya Times Square the whole time. The arcade is bigger and nicer, too! So I suggest that we all migrate there…plus, there is MvC2…and no Ultra-Bitch! :woot:
The BTS arcade is on the 6th floor. CvS2 speed setting seems a bit slow, but damage is fine.
Before that aforementioned arcade closed, I still saw ST get a lot of play. I think Hyper Fighting got more play, though…
Hi there, I’m thinking of visiting KL sometime in early December… was wondering if any of you guys play ST or 3S? Where are the locations of the more popular arcades (with decent sticks)?
Yeah i thought i was missing an arcade but i couldn’t remember where it was, guess it was the Sungei Wang one. I popped into times square but the fighters were not getting much play and no new games. The scene seems to be dead, unless it’s hidden away somewhere only locals know about.
Well, I went there today, and while SF4 was not there, they did get 3 new Tekken 6 machines. I was quite surprised. HD screens, card readers, the works. Lots of spectators and players. 3 coins to start (1RM = 2 coins)
CvS2 sticks still suck, and I was the only one who played the entire day. I dunno why I stuck around so long, maybe it’s just sentiment.
I leave Malaysia very soon. Shoutout to that guy who kills with A-Geese, he definitely had some skills that I didn’t see in the majority of the scene. And the P-groove guy too. It’s been fun…:sad:
