Taking bets that the pilots were the grandkids of the Wright brothers.
(I’m so tempted to close this thread before it goes full-blown tin-hat conspiracy theory even though Valaris has yet to.)
Outside of generally being in the same area and reopening wounds for the people whose family or friends disappeared with MH370, there’s very little similarity between MH370’s unresolved disappearance and QZ8501’s (seemingly) already resolved crashing.
MH370 took off on a completely clear night; QZ8501 took off in bad weather that it and no other plane had or has any real business ever trying to fly through in the first place.
MH370 was in the air for hours; QZ8501 was in the air for maybe an hour at max.
MH370’s last contact with any flight control happened shortly before it went silent for hours yet was still obviously in the air; QZ8501 last contact seems to have happened shortly before it crashed.
MH370 has been straight up vanished for ten months; QZ8501’s wreckage, along with dead bodies, has already possibly been found in less than a week.
I’m not going to say that hacking thing won’t be a future issue, but unless this wreckage and the bodies found end being from MH370 in some Twilight Zone plot-twist, kindly shut the fuck up with trying to connect these to things. Occam’s Razor dictates that, at least in the case of QZ8501, the plane probably crashed because AirAsia was trying to save money by having them fly near or even through really bad weather that they had no business trying to fly through. Yay cost-saving.
