King did too many mistakes. Random ultras,too many Tsurugis,bad choices on his ex fuki post setups. I’ve played Strider many times, he knows the MU, but Quaka could win this. Little tip against Akuma st.HK, our st.HK beat it clean. Is slower, but do it earlier when you sniffed one of those.
801 Strider was a great Makoto player before, he knows her in and out. Seaslug didn’t use st.mk and the TC1, those two are useful against Abel armor moves and can stop his st.mk->dash 24/7. Like Quaka he use too many Tsurugis and 801 Strider is waiting for that. We need to do less mistakes than others players and take the pace of the match almost immediately, isn’t easy.
I get that 801strider also played makoto but DAMN, did he have to get caught by every grab?
The commentator mentioned that King Quaka is the third best Makoto in Europe. If Vryu is numbah one, who’s the second best? Not really familiar with the Europe scene personally.
Top ranking Makotos are kinda hard to discern since not many win tournaments and it seems unfair to directly label someone the best when they haven’t recently participated in a tournament. ***Vryu I’m looking at you

After Vryu I think LioR is right after, talking about tournaments results, but he use Sakura more often actually. Is hard to establish who are the best Makoto here because see a good one around is rare, even online. In UK there are an another good Makoto (Galva Muirtron), but I don’t know if he’s keeping playing SF4. Even if this version is stronger in possibilities and damage/stun output I think most of the Makoto players around get tired of keeping risks for everything when all the cast get safer in USF4, not mention for the newcomers. I’ve stopped myself for months so I can understand them in that sense.

IIRC still work against shotos. I never test it on Rog, in that situation j.mk crossup into karakusa is better, just because of those cr.lp’s.
