Ken is actually killing me right now! LOL. his forward + mk is a friggin pain and his resets kept me from guessing. TBH, I think ken’s more dangerous than Ryu or even Akuma.

you can dash under poke xx Jaguar kick if close enough. Just buffer it and as soon as you see the JK press the other forward

Who is an idiot? I am. Are there any good options against a defensive Blanka; i.e. one who uses his upballs and electricity to constantly guard against all sorts of offense?

FAXGIMOTO recently did a well written piece on his accessment on his own Makoto play as he was trying to reach 5000PP on XBL. As he reached 4000PP he found himself not able to advance further. He then started to analyze his play. I thought it was a good read.

It would take me waaaaaaay too long to translate this, so I wonder if anybody else want to take a stab at it.

Hate to repost, but any thoughts on that Blanka fight?

IMO, it’s one of those matches that can be really annoying, but it’s still in Makoto’s favor. Try to focus his slide. Antiairing in this match can be kinda hard, but I’ve had a lot of success with jump back mp if you’re not having success reacting with fukiage fast enough. Once you get in, the only thing that will beat your meaties other than wakeup ultra is ex upball, and you can punish that on hit. Be careful to avoid wakeup ultra, though, because Blanka players, more than any other player for some reason, love the wakeup ultra. Option select his rolling get-me-the-fuck-away attack with cr.lp cr.lp os cr.hk. You can do it with fukiage too, and it’s worth learning because you get much better damage out of it, but the cr.hk os is a lot easier.

Alright i just did like a set of 20 vs Juri won 4 god damn this match ups is hard and can only imagine it gets even harder in AE .

I noticed on knock down shes pretty free any normals trade with Ex wheel but she has all the tools to keep you out man =.=
you can’t ex her over head (hit box is like kind of higher) But i did find out a good read punish for it was neutral jump attack to what ever combo .
Thats if there doing the over head after like some block string light light fire ball etc
I was using st mk for abit this is defiantly not the normal to use in this match her round house mk changes cr mp change all her hit boxes lower and makes it whiff =[
Surprisingly as usual fwd MP was doing wonders in this match up at the right distance this just beat out every thing .
I personally think ultra 1 ultra 2 man I got baited out so much with that higher fire ball it was silly .
Any one else have any advice for me would be awesome . This guy I’ve been vsing has finally found my bane I could beat his Cody and Fei most of the time but god damn Juri …

What about beating electricity? that stuff seems to be invincimode.
