How long do you expect the event to last so I can gauge whether to tack on a day at someone’s place for boozing, fun times, and midnight casuals?
-The only issue I’m having w/the 3S tournament is systems. As far as I know, the standard is Dreamcast? I think I’m the only one who has one. Unless it’s Anniversary Collection and for PS2/XB0X, don’t know.
-I don’t see an issue with the 2v2 SF Tournament if there is enough interest.
-DarkMeltdown: I’d like to have you all out of there by 7-9ish. I run tourneys fast so people from out of town like yourself can go out and socialize:)
No no no…PS2 is the standard for 3s now, anniversary collection. I’ll bring a setup if that helps.

Glad I asked then! Yes, if you and the other SA guys can bring a PS2 and PS3 and bring SFIV and 3S, that would be VERY much appreciated. I think I can run the 3S tourney on 2 TVs and 2 PS3s pretty fast.

All the tourney start times are listed on the main page. After the main SF4 tourney is done, we’ll immediately start the 2v2 if there is enough interest. I’d like to START at 12, but we’ll see what happens

i think pre-reg was only because there “was” suppose to be big pots of guarnteed $$$ but no, its just % of entries. i think you should push the times of each by 2 hours or 1. most of the out of town people will be leaving in the morning and traffic is a bitch coming though austin. i personally hate leaving to tournaments out of town at 9 or 10am.
i will bring my ps2 also with 3s. i will run it smoothly and video tape it

I have been asking for MONTHS to get this stickied, but nope.
-As for guaranteed money, I was supposed to have a lot of help with sponsors that never came through. I’d rather update everybody early than wait until payout to explain. I still expect a good turnout for SF4 and SC4
Spin: I’m aware that people from out of town are coming in, but also, delaying it even more will mean they have to stay even later. And tournaments that are on saturday, most out of towners will come in on fri night. If they are having problems, I’m assuming we will be able to help them out.
Pozerwolf: I totally hear you on the Brawl thing, but I vowed to never have it any tourney I run. Too many people, takes WAY too long, and will cramp space that I reserved just for you guys.

It’s on the main page brother. What’s funny, is the owner asked me what my “cut” was. Naturally, I said “no TO should ever be paid for this”. It’s always percentage when I turn tourneys. 60/30/10. All cash, right then and there. No checks or BS.
Hey Nori, good news, I can make this. San Japan doesn’t start any of it’s tournaments until late in the evening, the first at like 7 pm, so I can be there for most of the day helping stuff run.
I have a 360+SF4, 360 stick, and a PS2 w/ GGAC. If you need any of those things let me know (although I doubt you do).
I have no spare TV, but I can bring a ps2 and a copy of Anniversary Collection.
EDIT: Anyone have housing for 2? Just testing the waters before I commit for sure.
