I cant decide between ken And Nash who would u recommand for some one thats new to SF well sorta new been playing SFv since release so couple weeks but still new i like those character but cant make up my mind so im asking the pro’s here i mainly wanna learn the game so which Char is good for that example a grappler u wont learn the game just that character so im searching for some one that can learn offence ,defence ,zoning., rushing etc… Ken And Nash is best for that i think

Ryu all day. Haven’t even played with anyone else PVP. I’ve been a Ryu loyalist before Ryu was even considered boring or vanilla. He’s been my main since SF1…not like you had a choice in that game but you know what I mean. Kind of like Kazuya in Tekken, he will be my main and always my main. Hell I even almost dropped Tekken 3 when I found out Kazuya wasn’t coming back, was a good game just I didn’t connect with any of the characters. My secondary will probably be Alex/Ken/Charlie/Guile/Urien/Rashid/R Mika. Not certain yet cause I haven’t even come close to becoming good with Ryu right now. I stay true to my character even when the match ups are garbage. I just feel comfortable playing as certain characters regardless of tiers.

Ken will probably remain my primary character, but it really depends on how the redesigns go.
If Balrog is more rushdown like he was in SF2, where he closes space and pressures heavily then I might be interested.
If Urien still has sweet shoulder combos and he gets Reflector, then maybe I’ll move onto him.
Juri/Alex are two characters I’m interested in playing as secondaries depending on how they play. Juri I’m especially interested in, thinking about how she’ll be designed in 5.

Still don’t know how I feel about Street Fighter V… Played Gouken since vanilla in SFV and for years Urien 3rd Strike.
I couldn’t find interesting characters besides Nash. Now I’m all going in with heavy mix up characters. May it pays if for me and SFV will grow on me. It’s still too early
As evidenced by my avatar, my main in every SF since SF2 when I was 11 years old has been Chun. My first glimpse of SF was the arcade cab on demo, showing a blue-dressed chick fighting some green, electric man beast…thing. Being 1991(or was it 1992? I forget) I figured she was yet another damsel in distress, and that this was a side scrolling beat’em up. Plopped my quarter in…and there she was, on the select screen, along with 7 others including the green…thing.
Been maining her, regardless of tier, since then.
Karin, because I love her and she is the closest thing I have to a rekka character in this game, and mostly because she is bae.
because i dont really care to learn anyone else. i never could get the hang of charge characters and im not really a fan of them anyways. shoto gameplay just makes sense to me. probably because i played cable in mvc2. ken reminds me of that and he feels kinda kof13 shen woo-y too, whom i used in kof
