He has alot of tools too. His buttons are not spectacular but his overall moveset definitely makes up for it.
On that note… Using Necalli once I get around to playing
Claw as I wait for Boxer to stop waiting in the wings. You become accustomed to the royal treatment when you use one of the Four Kings.
Nash because I wanted a highly adaptable character this time around.
I’m surprised there aren’t many Dhalsim players this time. He’s so powerful in this game and people know it but after 22 hours in-game I have fought 1 Dhalsim, he’s so fun to play as.
Currently Cammy because fast walkspeed and easy damage. Also using Chun because buttenz. Might pick up 'Sim or Claw.
Chun Li and Karin. Clearly, I like buttons. Also, I love juggling opponents, and these two have the most potent juggle game, along with Vega, who is one of my subs, the other being Rashid.
Vega. He’s my main in SF4. I still suck with him though.
THE TURBULENT WIND!!! And of course…CYCLONE!!!
But that’s just the start. Then the true prize is revealed…in 3 months or so.
Bison, because I can relate to him best.
Bison, I’ve always liked him in the games I’ve played him in, even though he kinda changes gears a lot. But it’s week 1, so who knows if I’ll stick with him or play someone else as I put more hours into the game. So far he’s a (psycho) blast to play in this game.
At the moment Ryu.
I only began playing SF4 with any real purpose at the end of its life, so to continue from there I picked up the same character. I like the look of Birdie and Rashid so may move on to one of those once I have got to grips with the game a little more.
Laura and R. Mika.
I don’t know what happened. I usually play defensive characters because I sucked at offense in SFIV.
But after the announcement of Mika I was kinda excited to try her out because she reminds me of She-Hulk from Marvel, which is my favorite character in MvC3.
Then they announced Laura and I tried her out in the beta. It was so fun and refreshing. Refreshing because I am not used to that style but I noticed that I can play offensive in this game, especially with these characters.
On saturday, I tried Mika for the first time and she is as much fun as Laura to me, which basically means:
I can’t decide between the two, so I just main both. 
Months before release I thought I would go with Chun, my SSF4 main, but I don’t really like her in V. She is strong but I am kinda bored of her now because her normals are really similar to IV and I played her a lot in this game.
Right now it’s Necalli and Bison with some Karin on the side. I played Sakura and Bison in SFIV and Necalli somewhat reminds me of Sakura thanks to his stomp combos and frametraps. Karin gets me a similar footsie game but I hate her bad anti airs. Bison is just stylish even if I don’t think he’s that great.
That and I’ve always wanted to play a command grab character
I’m gonna roll with Chun, I like how she looks gameplay wise with having strong buttons and walk speed. Reminds me of Rose in SF4
Ryu cause he’s striving for self-improvement.
I’m sort of bouncing around a bunch of characters, but right now the top contenders are Mika and Vega
Mika cause she’s a fan favorite of mine and looks very strong this time around.
Vega cause he was my best guy in SF4 and the changes he’s undergone make him look very viable and strong. Just need to work on capitalizing certain scenarios
Nash and later Juri. I like Nash’s poking game and his CA is bad ass. I am determined to also use Juri so that I will use at least ONE character I used from SF4 (cammy, bison, juri).

Necalli.
Closest thing I could get to T. Hawk- DP type move, command throw, close range advancing pressure move (stomp instead of spire) and full screen advancing attack move (Disc’s Guidance instead of Condor Dive)
He’s just satisfying to use, with great damage output and health, and no glaring dealbreaker drawbacks.
Still deciding between a lot of potential characters, everyone I disliked in previous games I’m in love with because of how fun they feel in V.
It’s sitting between Ken, Bison, Nash, Dhalsim and Chun-Li. Ken is my favourite, followed by Bison at the moment. It’s a pretty tough call to make so I’ve been grinding training mode with all 5 seeing who I prefer, Dhalsim and Chun-Li have the most interesting execution aspects, Chun’s instant air legs and st.mp > cr.mk xx m.spinning bird kick combos and Dhalsim’s instant air teleports and instant air yoga flames make them both interesting from a control standpoint but I like the normal set that Bison has and the game plan of Ken a lot more.
TLDR; Probably Ken and Chun-Li like I did in 3S.
