Magus teach'n Chun

Poke with c.lp/c.lk when yun players go GJ happy. Than right after the c.lp it sets you up for a back+FP if they still come at you. The c.lp works wonders in this match up stuffing most of his attempts. You cannot sit back and let Yun build meter and soon as yun activates look for breaks in his attack pattern and aim for an attack.

c.lp / kara throw/ chun’s insane normals (you know what they are  ) and etc. Keeps Yun players from taking the momentum and prevents you from being cornered.

How the hell you jump toward ur opponent after the SA2…

I try to be as offensive as possible against Yun, to prevent him from activate the genei jin/build meter. But sooner or later the genei jin is coming out, and its then Ill try and connect a super art.
This particulary Yun player is very offensive, wich makes it a bit more difficult (dont really have problem against Yun players who only depends on the genei jin). I think I have to parry the dropkicks more frequently, but I still have to find a good punisher to use after Iv parried.
Anyway, overall he is a better player then me, so thats another reson for me loosing lol. Anyway, thnx for the respons, if you have any more tips Ill gladly take them =)

To jump after the SAII: You have to superjump cancel, just press down, up and she will jump after the SA. But you have to time it correctly, dont really know when you should SJ cancel, I just do it on feeling nowadays. But I think it is right before, or at the same time the last kick hits.

You could attempt to kara throw after the parried dive kick, but if the yun player is experienced enough they will notice it and tech the throw. Chun-lis fast pokes are good for stuffing her opponents attacks. (c.lp/c.lk, s.lp/s.lk)

Example of this could be seen in that shirube match of Raoh? vs. Ko. Chun-li’s fast pokes allow her to shut down K.O’s offensive game for the win. Good luck and remember Chun-li needs to be offensive against turtling Genei Jin yuns.

I try and c.lp alot, but I guess I should do it even more. Just have to try and make a habit of it =)

Hmm havent bothered learning kara throwing yet (can only do it in practise mode). Im playing on a pad, and Iv heard its kind of difficult to kara on a pad.
Is it worth learning?

Btw, do you know any site where I can download sf3 videos? I have a really difficult time finding any sf3 vids.

omg her MK Kara throw is a lot of her game… learn it. Just tap mk and quickly hit the throw command for extended reach. Yeah I would find it hard to do on a pad (especially dreamcast) so practice it on a stick layout.

Yeah Kara Throw means alot to chun. Just the threat of her kara throw and air throws means alot to her game. Use it.

I’m not a chun expert, i don’t even know what i’m doing here. I do know i’m sick of getting my ryu thrown from 3-4 frames back. Peeps Never see the shit coming.

www.combovideos.com - Ridiculous amout of videos for all fighters, definately best website out there.

Ah ok, guess its time for learning the kara throws then =) Never thought it had that big of an importance, will need alot of hours in practise mode =)

Thnx for the link, going to register there and dl some vids to see how people are playing.

Edit:
Just played against a few Yun players. And the c.lp really helps during the genei jin. Thnx for helping! =)
