thanks
does any one play mvc2 in colorado if so i wont to play them
Once a guy said to me that when you tap 2 punches twice in a row (with magneto, and storm) you always have an air dash, followed by a HP, and never have an air dash followed by lp… So, is that true?
it doesn’t really matter…but yes, I believe HP takes precedence.
for example if you try and jump and airdash too soon (in the frames where you can’t air dash) HP always comes out if you press them together.
as for me, based on experience, its not true. well, most of the time HP will come out but sometimes LP will come out, rarely tough but it will. it sucks especially if it happens on crucial moments on the game.
imo, practice dashing then pressing what you want next, lp or lk or hp or hp. it’s a little bit difficult but it will serve you good in the long run.
When I was learning ROM infinite, everytime I miss addf + lk, I get a HP, instead Addf… I would say that Ive never had a lp…
Anyone who has programmable pad would test it? like, with magneto sj. add (lp + hp), them lp + hp again… it can be done easy by hand in theory, but I never know if I push the bo
uttons exactly the same time…
My attempts - double tap lp + hp - hp comes after dash all time.
Piponaz - Yes Ill take your advice, thanks… I agree…
Im trying to learn slide infinite to set up Iron Mans infinite, wich I think is much easier than others infinites…
heres my ideas (not mine, I stole them from videos) - launch, hk, addf, lk, mk, land, sj. lk, addf +lk, sj.mk + IM AAA, land, s.hp, IM AAA hits, slide infinite (2 reps), tag IM, IM hits, opponent on air, start IM infinite…
2 - after 5 fierce, whem opponent is waking up, nj. addf + hp (whiff) (I perform this with double tapp method) change sides, call IM AAA, hp throw, IM hits, slide infiite (2 reps), tag…
why don’t you just Rom, land, st.lp+IMAAA, s.hp, IM hits, slide infinite (or you can time a MT then OTG slide to tag)
IM aaa is pretty useful like storm and sometimes like psy assist
5 fierce, nj addf+IM AAA (crossover), HP (whiff), cr.lk mk, MT connects
ROM, dash+IM AAA, crossover cr.lk mk MT
ROMing sent in corner, dash under a bit st.hp+IM AAA is a nice and damaging reset
whenever you tag in magnus and it connects, st.hk+IM AAA hypergrav works nicely (like st.hk+PSY AAA hypergrav)
I just got a fight stick today and I’m trying to learn the ROM infinite
I launch with HP and immediately sj.hk
After I do sj.hk I am supossed to addf and then do an lk?
My problem is the beginning of the rom infinite after the addf. I can addf but then I can’t do the next step
do I keep holding down forward even after I addf and press LK?
Some people tell me to press LK and others say make sure it’s “DOWN LK”
from my understanding it’s Launch - sj.hk - addf - lk - lk - land - do something else
I’m stuck on addf, anyone have any tips? after addf do I hold down and LK or release the stick and do LK
sorry my post is unorganized I’m tired
launch, sj.hk, addf lk, lk, land [sj.lk, sj.lk, addf lk, lk] (repeat in brackets)
rythm is like :[sj.lk, sj.lk (pause) , addf lk (pause), lk]

theres only 5 threads in the magneto section you had a 1 in 5 chance (20%) to pick the right thread. =/
Hello every one i have started magneto about 2 weeks ago so im a magneto noob
Well i want to learn some magneto inf combos, yesterday i was practicing this one that goes
c.lp c.hp (the c.hp sends the enemy into the air) so while ur enemy is at the air i press hp and air dash dow forward and hit em with a lk lk but whene ever i do this am i suposed to quickly hit the opponet with the hk? i rly dont get it. By the time i hit em with the hk they r already in the air
I would like to know wut sj stands for
ty
after you launch them in the air you sj.hk, addf lk, lk, land [sj.lk, sj.lk, addf lk, lk] (repeat in brackets)
sj = superjump
hey uys about the normal rom infinite. Can some one tell me how to do it and a video of it, is there a timing? I want to learn normal jump rom since the ROM is too ahrd for me cuz i use a controller
read the thread
Are you just talking about the normal jump infinite? Thats not really called a rom.
I haven’t done his normal jump infinite on normal sized characters in awhile so sorry if my advice is a little off. The infinite can be done with the opponent at as low height as possible. The setups are the same as the ROM but you need to make sure you get the opponent pretty low. Then normal jump lp, D+lk, mp. If its on sentinel then you add a MK at the end.
I don’t remember if you can do 40 hits but you can definitely get several reps in. YOU MIGHT have to alternate between jumping straight up and jumping U/F. Delay the first LP after you jump so that the opponent stays low.
If my advice doesn’t work, let me know and i’ll hit training mode. I seriously haven’t practiced this since the day I tried to learn the ROM.
ty dude but i am still confused on hwo to do it. How fast does it have to be?, how low does the opponent have to be, is there a certain timing of stops in any part of this infinite? A Video would help lots also cna it be done on normal size characters
It can be done on normal sized characters, not small. The character has to be pretty darn low. Its actually kind of hard on small characters. Pretty much you just do it as slow as possible while still letting it combo.
Its 10x easier on sentinel though because he falls very fast and you can throw in a 4th normal. I can’t really make a video because my digicam is broke and my cell phone doesn’t do the greatest videos.
K dude thank you, If anyone got any vids out there plz post the link so i can see how to do this inf.
Here is your link>
k ty dude but do u ahve a link of the normal jump infinite being done on a normal size character?
Go back and practice rom instead… its much easier… and actually its not hard at all… just practice. Very few people learned and mastered it quickly. Hell… even the pro’s still drop people out of it sometimes…
Mag’s also doesn’t need ROM early in his training… learn the 5 fierce combo into a couple resets… and your golden to kick noobs online in the face…
