I probably already know the answer to this, but does it have much usefulness in Erik’s offense/defense? I can’t see any way to combo off of it outside of ‘SHOCKWAVE’ or XFC activation. It’s basically just a “Get off me” counter, isn’t it?

The only time I ever use Force Field is when I miss the input for an EM Disruptor.
Which usually leads to dead Magnus.
They should bring Force Field back to its COTA/MHS glory :]
Sometimes I’ll use it correctly against Wolvy or Ammy but they will still block the shockwave in time. Rofl at this move. Up the reward for pulling this shiet off by like 10x please, better yet change the function of it completely.Maybe make it have a long ass start up and then you get invuln to projectiles for x seconds. Stand L and H Hyper grav are good and under utilized tho.
Funnily enough, if you try to Force Field a s.:h: from Tron her projectile invul during the move will make the counter miss and she’ll whack you anyways… Doesn’t happen much but I lol’d pretty hard the first time I saw it…
I’ve had minimal success using this versus players with good reaction. Because when they see that sweep (2H) go by, DEAR GOOD, will they press LMH. but I can never get anything form it… weird cancel to hyper, not worth the risk.
So, don’t use it. At all.
use it to troll. when you hit someone with it scream out “HELLA YOMI, I’M SO GODLIKE.” watch them get all mad and frustrated.
the counter itself is ass but the counter assist is really sick. makes moves whiff on the point character and has a high launching soft knockdown that barely affects hsd. not sure if its enough to warrant running over disruptor for most teams though
I don’t personally use it but I have seen some players at local RanBats call a projectile assist with the counter to protect the assist and then dash behind the assist.
