Madcatz EVO Fightstick 2012

I’m on the west coast and I still haven’t got mine.

Strange… It’s just sad that such a reputable dealer is really not even at least responding to calls or emails to enlighten us on whats going on. It almost reminds me of one of those scam sites, which I’d hate to say cause I love my fightsticks… :frowning:

Yo, so I got my stick yesterday around 6pm right after I left for work. I thought it was weird that they didn’t charge me, but the transaction went through today, so I was charged after the stick arrived.

I’m also not diggin what Madcatz is doing right now, it’s impossible to contact them and they send out items with no shipping information at all. And it feels like they aren’t even doing the orders in order. But surely enough people’s sticks are coming. They might’ve been backed up from EVO and Comic Con back to back weekends. Might need to reorganize themselves in the future

my stick came, but the order still says “pending” on the website. maybe the system is just slow updating? also, there’s a black dot between the white buttons. anyone else have this? it’s so annoying, but other than that - the stick is awesome!

West to east coast? I’m in far west coast, Hawaii, and I didn’t get anything yet. lol

I ordered on the 7th, and my stick still isn’t here…

Ugh, 10 days later and still nothing. Don’t even know where it is or even if I should bother with this anymore. The lack of support from this company is a major turn off on future orders online. It’s either buy in person from a retailer, or nothing at all. ~_~

I’ve placed 3 orders in the past with madcatz and all of them have been during a big sale. All of them took over a week on average, and yes, their site was never up to date. One took 2 weeks. I sent an email via their contact us function, and then 2days later my package arrived without a response from them. They do need to improve on some customer service. But i’m sure If you buy something during a non major sale, especially an EVO based sale, they’ll be swamped with calls.

Alright guys so here’s an update for everyone. I gave a call to the MadCatz online order support this morning and spoke with a Nathan (I asked if he was the only one doing taking support calls as he was the same guy I spoke to last week and he acknowledged the he pretty much was). They have been shipping sticks out but have been extremely busy given the two back to back major events (EVO and SDCC) so no need to worry if you haven’t received an notification yet. If you’re like me though and would like to know when exactly you’re supposed to receive your package, then give the support number a call (1-909-801-3428) and they’ll give you your tracking number. Honestly, they should have sent these out via email rather then having to track it down ourselves but I’m not going to beat them up over it.

Also, as someone mentioned above, the funding will be deducted from your account once it has been delivered and accepted.

I live in CT and have recieved both orders placed. 360 placed on 7/6 and PS3 placed on 7/11 :slight_smile:

quite your bitchin’ Lucky you guys can actually get these. If they actually showed up at evo, they would have sold out!

So some more information for Canadians. Called the number Eric the intern posted, and according to them, Canadian orders only ship on Thursday and Fridays. I did confirm that my package has indeed shipped Via Purolator on the 13th and gave me a tracking number as well. Only thing of note is that the package will not show any information until it touches down in Toronto and gets scanned there.

And what masturfader says is true. The Impulse buy is VERY STRONG when you see the shiny stick right in front of you :slight_smile: For once, Customs did us a favour :slight_smile:

The original plan was to sell both at Evo and online.
The only difference would have been that they would probably be sold out by now and not still for sale online.
Considering i ordered minutes after going live, I would have gotten one either way.
I’m one of the few that have given MCZ slack for the issue, but get your facts straight before you start calling people out for a pointing out less than stellar customer service.

I finally got mine, so happy :smiley: it’s really nice. I’ve never used a fightstick Pro before, I like the slanted wrist rest although it’ll take some getting used to.

Called the support number and got Nathan as well. He sounds pretty even-keeled for being swamped with these types of calls. MadCatz’s website order tracking was not so good, but It is what it is and it’s really not worth the effort to be flipping tables about they handled this set of orders. I’m actually glad to know that there’s a person answering phones and giving your order tracking info.

Also called Support here. Spoke with Nathan, knew exactly what was up, and gave me my tracking code. Im at work so i typed it in at fedex, and find out its sitting outside my door right now. YAY! cant wait to go get off work and go home! Im new to this whole Fighting scene, so im excited to start getting my ass kicked by all the people that i meet in my area who have been playing for who knows how long.

I feel bad for putting Nathan on the spot now. At the least people are getting their tracking numbers now.
