Unfortunately, I need it for the PS3
i got the EX SE as well, but swapped everything for Sanwa parts. (JLF + cherry switches FTW!)
but if i was comparing the hori v to say…the hori ex2…i would def say get the v because of the door!

When I first bought my MvC TE I was going to mod the buttons and balltop because I too don’t like the color Yellow. But after seeing it in person, the color scheme grew on me fast. I love the way the MvC TE stick looks and I’ve decided to keep it stock. The art on it is really nice, I’m actually going to buy a plexi just to protect the art on it.
now you are just being silly the op asked about se and te. the ex2 isnt even in the same league as the se. its half the price, and uncommon ground too. we could just make doors on any joystick with a flat baseplate anyway.
TE is by far the better stick, even after modding an SE.
- It’s a lot easier to mod due to Art’s plexi.
- The weight is perfect.
- Actual buttons for Start/Select. (Which are interchangeable as opposed to the SE’s.)
I found the SE just too light and hated the top panel design making artwork a pain in the ass to interchange when I got tired of one theme.
thats the only difference kelter skelter, if you find one with ponies inside, its mine tho
Well I might as well ask more questons while I’m getting answers:
How do the buttons fit in when you add plexi? Obviously it makes the top panel much thicker, how do the buttons still fit?
the buttons are tall enough to fit in, you could probably add another plexi and still be able to use it…
i have noticed the xbox panel where the home button is and shit doesnt seem to reach out perfectly if you have a plexi + that red plastic thing.
we switch to screw in buttons for the added thickness versus the snap ins generally for metal or other very thin panels
I heard it’s a tight fit to get all the screw in buttons in there but, when I get new buttons for when I switch my TE buttons to my GFs SE I’ll keep that in mind.
Dood, I modded my SE…And I have a modded HRAP all sanwa…And TE’s round 1 and 2…And the TE is still the superior of them all…It’s just the feel…The material of the TE (not just buttons and stick) is way superior and feels the best…Go with TE…
the thread for the screw is not tight at all, the nut however is a different story. you must approach attaching the nuts slow, they will fit perfectly and very easy, if you plot out the correct sequence. they end up touching each other and will not go down because of their sprocket like design. once you have the correct sequence, then all of them will fit without a hitch, you cannot copy anyone on this because the angle you put it in will be different from other people
