Just got off the phone w/ one of MarkManās minions and the thing that was holding up my order was the TE+S Smoke Side panels that I ordered (That shit is out of stock son!)ā¦I guess a ton of people had the same idea when it comes to modding the SCV stick and getting rid of the red and blue side panels and replacing them w/ smoke!
But I did manage to score the OG TE side panelsā¦not my first choice but the color scheme will remain intactā¦Itās a good thing that I calledā¦that shit has been āIn Progressā for about 10 days now. Iām just salty because at the time that I ordered those side panels they were availableā¦UGH!

What number did you use to call MadCatz? I think the MLG PS3 stick I got has the MadCatz sanwa clones in them instead of real Sanwas (same issue as those in this thread: Mad Catz MLG Stick - Counterfeit Sanwa buttons?). I need to call them to get that sorted out.
Crap, I ordered White S sides along with my SCV ( Luckily i had already ordered Smoke TE sides when i bought my TTT2 stick, hehe). I wonder if thatās whatās holding up my order? I placed it during ECTV, but havenāt gotten a shipping confirmation yet either. Like you, my order is still in progress.
They donāt do partial shipping? IIRC, the sides and the stick came in separate boxes, albeit on the same day.
I also placed my order during ECTā¦from what I can gather it seems that if you have a problem w/ your order (i.e. out of stock items) it will stay in limbo until you call them. I placed my order on the 18thā¦itās damn near the 30th and I didnāt here anything.
If you are still waiting for your order from ECT and if you havenāt heard anything by now give one of Markmanās underlings a call; make sure you have youāre order # readyā¦

I think the problem is that some people took advantage of the stream discounts from the last few weekends and ordered Mods & Parts along w/ there sticks. If Mad Catz does not have a particular accessory in stock your order will be āin progressā until they get the part back in stock. Otherwise you got to call them to partial the shipment or choose another accessory to replace the one that is ācurrently out of stockā.
I placed an order w/ Mad Catz, Focus Attack, Tek-innovations and Etokki during ECT weekend.
I got my buttons, I got my custom etched plexi from Tek. I still donāt have my Mad Catz order.
The only reason why Etokki takes so long is b/c that stuff comes straight from Korea. end/rant

any chance of madcatz possibly selling replacement metal panels in other layouts? i would like to have the noir layout on my TEs with out having to buy the soul stick or TTT2 stick
The only panel they sell separately is the classic MK layout panelā¦ The option to buy different layouts would be nice - on the other hand, I guess that they have to protect their product lineā¦ Kind of how they donāt offer mod parts in colors that have released on limited edition or other game tie in productsā¦ You have to consider that they wouldnāt want the market diluted with customs that resemble those sticks too much, licensing issues aside. Being able to buy White TE sides would be nice, though.
what??? the panel for SCV version and TTT2 stick are made of metal???
Yes, if you remove the 6 top screws and lift the panel you will see that the artwork is indeed glued to a metal panel underneath. Iāve already looked under the hood of my TTT2 stick to see what Iāll be dealing with when I mod it.
