I was answering the assist question, not the KI question. I’m curious on KI as well. I meant, I doubt LoU’s affect MODOK’s assists.
Where’s the video of iron man crouching KI?
oh, pardon me. misunderstanding.
Keits calls cr.A the worst normal he’s ever seen.
so I heard. Hopefully, we’ll never have to use it

This is the video. Though Iron Man was further away than I remembered.
IM is reeling during the super freeze. My thought when I first saw that was that the grab was just quick and had a long recovery animation and that it whiffed because he was in hitstun when it went active.
I’m betting LOU’s do effect his assists. Dorm’s charges do.
Dorm has a specific move to use his charges and that move is his assist. Souped up specials however are tied to a unique command.
MODOK’s charged specials requires a specific command.
EDIT: Damn you Sylari!
Does anyone know what the inputs for his Psionic Blaster, and his hypers are?
Addendum to this, in his reveal trailer he uses it on a crouching Dante.
Pretty decent MODOK gameplay here IMHO. Good use of cubes and Doom rocks:

nice footage.
good shit
Does Barrier work both ways? What I mean is, say you set a barrier, back up and the opponent jumps between you and the barrier, would they be able to pass back to the other side or would it act as a pseudo-corner? If they can’t pass through, this could be the beginning of some Urien-esque shenanigans, maybe set the barrier and use body attack to get to the other side of your opponent and wall them in?
yeah it blocks motion from both sides.
I dont see how the Urien shenanigans comes into play. I mean nobodys just going to sandwich themselves like such, barrier doesnt even last that long.
I can bet you that people will find setups using assists to force people to be sandwiched by the shield.
Now I wonder…does forced tech roll go through the shield?
I doubt the regular shield would be good for Urien-shenanigens, but I could see the large one being used.
We’d have to see if it lasts longer than the regular shield though. I’d guess that it would.
