Iâve got tyhe ffeling that overall Galtu uses EX DR way too much. Most of the time it doesnât give him anything, and he ends up losing a bar.

In my opinion and from what I see in high levels of play, most of the time Ex DR doesnât lead to any damage, because the opponent just has to block and be ready to tech a throw. This is Bison, he doesnât have a lot of pressure up close (no comand grab, no overhead), so most of the time you end up losing meter for nothing.
Iâm sure Galtu has his reasons for using that move so often, but I think that on the long run, more than 50% of his Ex DR are wasted. And I am not talking about the fact that sometimes it gets AA.

Exactly! And that means, the opponent does not attack you. Which I think, when I look at Galtu is the only reason he does it so often. The guy just wants to keep clubbering, even if it costs lots of meter.

But it means that this season, yet again, Bison has to spend a lot of meter, thus he can´t save it for CA 
I was using the ____ lives matter joke, but that didnât catch, I guess. Seriously though, I was playing a match yesterday against a Cammy and I was pressuring her a lot with a mix of buttons and ex movesâŚShe blocked it out and ex dive kicked in to get her turn and I Vreversaled and soon after that managed to get a throwâŚIt was like she ate full jump in combo.
I donât necessarily think thatâs the always the case this time with meter. M.bison has a lot more frame traps(and tighter ones too) to work with now. This means meter can be built through solid play, rather than having to use ex DR just to be at real any real advantage. It is harder to get in, in this season though.
A move thatâs + on block to the point you can use HK after, itâs hard to AA and can create gimmicks, at worst you get a situation where you can go for a grab or a normal, itâs not a bad way to use 1 bar.
Plus, with a good blockstring you recover a good part of your spent bar
