Well this one IS messed up… i think adding a bit of pushback to the move will make it so he never lands on the other side while still giving us time to walk up and grab/st.HK.

The sad thing is when i say this to my friends they say i’m thinking too high of myself. It’s sad you can’t say anything about the japanese players even when you can see they’re clearly playing the matchup wrong.

Do you need to be better than a sport player like Lebron to tell when they’re actually playing bad? This is messed up.

This used to happen a lot in SF4. I knew some stuff were possible against Bison and yet a lot of pro players weren’t doing that.
Apparently, they only practice against top tier characters, forgetting about other matchups until they actually stop them from winning tournaments often.

I think Japanese players try to play in the pocket against Bison. I think they do this because if they are successful, they will make Bison second guess his buttons/blockstrings and demoralize him. It’s waaay too risky, in my opinon. Attempted cool niche stuff like low profiling M.Bison’s st.mk during blockstrings is still a high-risk low reward situation, even if it does work consistently.

All in all they just approach M.bison a bit differently.

I agree the move is scrubby but so is the way most top players are dealing with it. People JUMPING into it pisses me off so much.

Just hope they nerf this shit fast so we can move on with our final tools for 2017.

We have EX DR, but we rarely have a CA. We don’t have a lot of things for that matter. It’s give and take. Are we really going to be confined to Psycho Axe?

Well, when we talk about a balance patch, usually we complain about all of them. It would be awful to nerf EX DR but not EX Chariot, for example, but if other characters’ stupid moves are nerfed, then EX DR might as well be too.

I saw Justin Wong and complaining about it on his stream yesterday as well. So everyone wants Bison to have to play a solid ground game and not have such an easy way to get in? Well, I guess they could nerf it further and Bison could rely on his walkspeed…Oh wait, HE DOESNT HAVE A DECENT WALKSPEED. Fine, nerf the move…but I swear to god they better buff his dashes. The American fgc cares nothing about balance. They just want “fun”. The fact that people love complaining and that Capcom is actually going to listen to them is what’s going to make this game more broken than ever.

Saw a tweet with a video of LI Joe complaining that EX.DR beating Urien’s critical art was the dumbest thing he had ever seen. On the twitter feed loads of people agreeing the with the post that it was dumb, posting along the lines that if EX.DR can beat a Critical Art its clearly broken.

But hang on a minute I remember back in IV people use to say that it was such smart play using EX.Air Tatsu to avoid Hakan’s Ultra 2. I had people avoid Bison’s U1 doing that.

Never mind the fact that using Uriens Critical Art as a counter to EX.DR would not be too common, or the fact that most characters don’t have a Critical Art that hits opponents in the air. Cry me a river Urien. Call me when you loose V-Trigger as a wake up option.

I wouldn’t object to more recovery on EX.DR, as far as I can tell it has only 3 recovery frames on the ground. If they added on 5 more it would make the move more whiff punishable, and would still be about +8 on block.

However if EX.DR landing recovery is now considered scrubby, fair enough I can accept that, but can everyone now also agree that everyone of SF IV Akuma 's Demon Palm whiff cross over,(4 frames of landing recovery) into Raging Demon, throw or low that he did for 7 years was also fraudulent and scrubby.
