I think Lupinko should leak the roster, because it would also prevent possible controversy, i some of the riddles where odd and turned out to be unrelated. I’m seeing the popular list to have Strange, Bishop, Cyclops, Psylocke, thanos, and Doc Oc - Strider, Wright, West, Arramer, Megaman, Virgil…

however, what ever happened to the Vampire tweets? Why is that suddenly forgotten, and focused on the “yellow fever” instead?

And why did the Hockey-donuts thing suddenly became a non-character hint when we had lupinko talking about the answer being on Gfaqs page 39, the 3 irrelevant people, Sid the Kid, Chibi going to game faqs and praising them on how they’re doing so well in comparison to us?

You see, it should be leaked NOW. Because some random guy could say that Lupinko just gave random riddles that fit every other character, and just made the claim that those where the characters he was talking about.

The vampire tweets were never confirmed to be a hint, and considering Jubilee was deconfirmed I think we can safely say they were unrelated.

And yeah, I can already see the douchebags claiming Lupinko didn’t know shit.

If SMvC3 goes the AE DLC route… and it totally depends when it’s released, if we get vanilla DLC chars in let’s say august and SMvC3 hits early 2012, a lot of peeps will get them.
I have a feeling we’ll get some DLC chars first (to keep us busy) and a few months later an update with other (new) DLC chars.

Why this way? Because it produces more money.

If it’s a DLC expansion sure, it would work like BBCS. But my problem with that idea is if they release a disc-based update - which I’m kind of hoping for, for the sake of actually fixing some things.

The trap won’t be there if they nerf the meter gain on Ouroburos or if Strider is hit Ouroburos will disappear. Hell, if strider and his “trap” remain somewhat intact in this game, hes already god-tier lol. I bet Strider/Doom/Assist team is going to be mad popular and rage from scrubs.

Ouroburos+hidden missles assist? That combination shits on sooooooooooooooooooooo many characters already in the game…

Quite frankly I’d want to see the “trap” gone, sadly. I believe in what Capcom will do with Strider (if hes in).

Didn’t you see the neogaf link i posted, where he was discussing the whole riddles of that day (especially the vampire one), and in neogaf he says he won’t be cryptic with that riddle and he’ll throw us all a bone, and then the whole Jubilee train started? Oh I can dodge and block it, but everyone I fight that seems to be their only tactic and well if I do so happen to miss then I’m air combo’d for a good 2 mins. This game had to grow on me when I first got it I was really really put off by how important blocking a low poke was. In MvC2 there wasn’t nearly as much danger to getting hiting with a low poke. I’ve fought matches where players will sit and reapetedly tap the low attack hoping i would run into it (which got them a special to the face) which is sad. All I’m saying is the combo system could be a bit more challenging, so I left the game alone to go learn to play SSFIV

Cause SSF4 has such a challenging combo system. Try playing Dante/Doom/Taskmaster/Skrull/Captain America/Magneto/Ironman. There are other characters in this game besides wolverine.

The donuts tweet was non-related to being a character, but being about characters, or a date when the next game comes out. Lup pretty much said Jubilee wasn’t going to be in with one of his tweets saying ‘no jubilation’.

Wow. I didn’t think the Cancellation of MML3 would effect this thread in such a way. Capcom has really been dropping the ball lately. We’re not getting Darkstalkers 4. Just have to face it. but Lupinko seems pretty pissed. Although I don’t think he’s going to leak the roster…hell, I don’t even know what going to happen to Capcom at this point. All I know is that they got some major balls cancelling a fan favorite like that. They must be REAL confident about these SDCC announcements to do it beforehand. Better be pulling some amazing shit and if that “AAA” title game they’re talking about isn’t hype well…Megaman fans will be every fuckin’ where.

as it is, there really isn’t a solid lockdown assist like MvC2 doom rocks (RIP) were. maybe amongst the newer batch of characters, but we’ll see. if there isn’t, hopefully someone can come up with a ghetto Ouroboros trap. and he better have some sick combos and resets. if ninjas are still available in pringles flavor then I’m dropping wesker in an instant. seriously.

Not True. If Capcom has the balls to cancel a MEGAMAN game that the community helped develop, ain’t no telling what kind of stupid shit they are willing to pull in the future. That includes with fighting games.
