I just realized how much I miss CapCom and dat Corridor assist. Is he forever damned by the whole “we’re not making four models to put one character in the game” problem?
I’m starting to sorely miss GTFO assists that aren’t named Tron flamethrower or Haggar Lariat. And no, Dante’s Jam Session is not like Corridor and it never will be.
I miss captain commando in general he was the 1st character i picked the 1st time i played marvel 2 my team was Captain Commando/Guile/Jin

Anti-air assists are nerfed greatly in this game and the Corridor assist, if it were to appear in super MvC3, wouldn’t be better than Jam Session. IMHO the majority of the Capcom characters in MvC1 and MvC2 are nowhere near as well designed as the ones in MvC3 so I am not sure if there’s a point in wanting CapCom/Jin/Megaman/Strider/etc back. I mean, what’s the point of Strider when Wesker can teleport too and kick ass without relying on cheap Ouroboros setups? The only Capcom character I might want back is Dhalsim, since he always worked well in MvC games and Super Skrull is nowhere near as effective as Dhalsim was.

Jin was pretty unique though. He was kind of a mash up of characters conceptually, but still had some unique traits. Give him a new redic move or two and he’d be baller. Make cyclone OTG and set up juggles or something. At any rate, I don’t see much of a chance of him reappearing though.

Game needs a pink beams and the Marvel roster needs more females. If I’m not mistaken, Capcom side has twice as many females as the Marvel side:
Chun, Viper, Tron, Trish, Felicia, Morrigan, Jill, Lei-Lei.
Storm, X-23, Phoenix, She-Hulk.
Dog doesn’t count.
Psylocke, Ms. Marvel, Electra, Squrrel Girl. Make it happen.
