Even if Capcom is still trying to assess how to approach the future, it apparently has no shortage of plans for 2013. When pressed about what’s coming, and specifically asked about bringing the Mega Man games to the Nintendo 3DS’s eShop (as they are in Japan), Elston wouldn’t get into details - but he did provide a timetable for when that information would be shared - December 17, the same day Street Fighter X Mega Man will be available for download. And that won’t be everything. More announcements will even be made after that date.

congratulations to combofiend and haunts! considering seth is currently gone, it’s nice to have another accomplished player working closely with capcom, and another valuable member of the community who no one is quite sure yet what capacity he’ll be working in for the company. that’s great news. the important thing to take away here is that combo, being a (multi) fighting game player specializing in capcom games, is a symbol that capcom has upcoming future fighting game plans and want assistance (perhaps another special advisor, perhpas cvs3 shhhh). i’ve always said if i were capcom, and i wanted players from the community assisting me in future projects (a great idea btw), my top choices would be justin, viscant, and combo. FANTASTIC!
