Judging by that, i’ll assume that the LS-32-SC has a different (thiner or maybe lighter?) shaft as well.
Its basically a LS-32, no wait there no doubt a bout it its a LS-32.
Lately Seimitsu has become Hori level of stupid with it’s product labeling.
If I gave you a LS-38 and a LS-32-SC you can’t tell the difference just by looking at it.
Only thing is the LS-38 ships with a flat mount plate.
is there an existing spring mod for the ls-32? i’ve messed around with extra springs but never got any to fit correctly but i don’t want to buy a new ls-38 just for that.
sorry for the double post but just wondering @NENDO why you marked “lol” on my post. maybe it’s a stupid question but i searched SRK and Google before asking. if you know of a spring mod for ls-32 would you mind sharing?
i just ordered the 38 out of curiosity and because i missed 2 dashes in a ranked match in V today because i didn’t return to neutral in time. i’ll also be messing around with different shaft sizes with it but i thought, why not get it for one of my sanwa sticks or one of my many ls-32’s. it’s a shame but that damn clip and testing any spring i could find led to a lot of frustration.
EDIT
also, anyone else get an ls-38? what r your thoughts on it’s stiffness? i’ll be sharing my experience on here when it arrives. the only thing i would like to change about ls-32 is the spring stiffness but i think this 38 might be too stiff. i’ll find out soon enough

I tried the ls-38. In my opinion the spring is way too stiff. Returning to neutral wont be the problem for the ls-38, its going to be dragging that stick forward two times. The spring is just way too stiff imo for quick movements. I felt really sluggish using it
finally got mine. played for about 1.5 hours straight with it. i’m really liking it so far so to be as objective as i can i’ll list my pros and cons:
pros:
-shorter shaft allows for slightly more precise inputs
-stiffer spring returns stick to neutral faster. inputting dashes was definitely a little easier and multiple dashes in quick succession were more successful
-seems to help have more precise inputs during high pressure situations where you panic
cons:
-i was missing forward jumps every so often lol. takes a little while to get used to the tension
-left arm was a little tired from using it after a while
-made my TEK case creak like a little bitch. probably best for heavy, sturdy cases
i think the spring’s tension in combination with the shorter shaft makes the 38 slightly too stiff. i’m going to use it as my main stick for a few months to see if it’s something that i can live with for the benefits it provides.
Ive been using it as my main stick the last few months. It’s been great for 2d fighting games. Been using it alot on 3s, ultra, hdr and a whole bunch of snk fighters on fightcade. Really great stick if you use alot of 360 characters which I do. It is very stiff and took me afew hours to get adjusted to. Once It loosens up alittle it wI’ll be ideal due to the fact I was having trouble hitting diagnals on tekken tag 2. I was missing Paul’s death fist as a instant punisher. If it loosens up and I play tekken more it should get better for me. My fav stick has been the ls32, but this one just might have the edge over it , even with the issues I’m having.
