I’ve noticed that Urien is more susceptible to low grades than the other characters. Why is that?

Mix-up and most good games where Urien doesn’t dominate the opponent will end up with a C rating or less. The grading system ultimately doesn’t mean much anyways.

because you whiff lots of moves and most times your winning icon isn’t a “s” it’s a “v” s helps get better rankings.

It’s not Urien himself that gets low grades but the aegis reflector due the nature of the move.

Yeah…Aegis screws up your grades cuz the game thinks its cheap. Combos + Stun = good grades.

The game grades you on parries, how fast you kill your opponent, how large your combos are (super combos and super finishers basically giving you a single grade +). This varies from character to character too. The stronger a character is, the lower the combo they need. The problem is Urien has really shitty combos and super combos and few ways to garuntee them in comparison to someone like Ken or Oro, who seem to be graded on roughly the same combo scale.

I always kind of assumed that it was also because a lot of your aegis hits are being blocked which they might consider to be you just not using your super well (I doubt they really designed the grade system to account for how every super should be really used).

Its possible, happened many times for me. headbutts, s.fierce, and neutral grab does huge stun damage.

Launch, double headbutt combo into unblockable for another double headbutt combo again brings most characters to 90% stun. this is only true if they don’t roll or parry out of the unblockable.

The low grades are because you will almost never finish them with an Aegis Reflector and the super is often blocked. It’s quite easy to post good grades with SA1 and SA2 Urien.

That’s because Urien is a bad boy, doesn’t really care about grades.
He’s only there to CKD everyone :slight_smile:

It must have a lot to do with your attack success percentage because if you just throw over and over for the entire fight n do nothing else, you’ll max out your offense rating. You’ll get a B+, B++, or A without having done any combos, supers, etc.
