So this being my 2nd day in Kentucky (going on 3) I now have a pretty funny story to take back with me. To sum it up, we went to Wal-Mart today to get a couple things while we’re here. I didn’t have a chance to get my haircut before so I thougt why not try out the Wal-Mart barbershop. Oh, what a terrible idea that was! I asked the lady if she did a good fade. She says, “Well sure I do.” I try to explain to her what I wanted to get and when she began, everything pretty much went downhill from there. The right side looks somewhat managable and then she does the left side and she goes up about 3 inches past the right side fade on one spot about an 1 1/2 inches across. She tries to fix it but the damage is done. Then she tries to cut the top and goes lop-sided so I have the old school Bobby Brown with a slant. I couldn’t stop laughing because fortunately I have shaved my head a couple times before and I knew that was the only thing I could do at this point. Although, I wasn’t expecting shave it off then and there, but I told her to take it all off. So guys I will be seeing you in a couple of days with no hair on my head. :lol:
As for replying to 2-tone, I would be down for some 3rd Strike but we’re going to have to leave a little early to catch our flight. Also, does anyone going to this have a MAS style stick with an American bat top and an American straight across button style that they might be so kind as to let us borrow while we play our tourny matches? If not, any stick style will do. We do have a TE stick but it’s for the 360.
We should have mas sticks for 360 and ps3 (one each). Bring your TE stick, tho. This tourney may be on both (as long as both competitors in thot match are ok with it.)
As for the haircut, lol. Kentucky is FULL of rednecks and walmart is where they usually work. I can only imagine the things you saw and experienced there! Bald people have to pay an extra 10 bucks for the tournament, tho (j/k)

Good games to everyone that played. I wish I could have stayed longer, especially long enough to win $200. Thanks Dboot for hosting and good luck with any future tournys that you put together. If you do host any other tournys I would recommend to have a laptop that has brackets drawn out or use a program that does advancing for you.
Oh, and just FYI, I’m posting this from the Phoenix airport while I’m waiting for my plane to come after a 2 1/2 hour delay on the connecting flight.
Good games today guys! I didn’t get to mingle too much because a couple of my friends wanted to go and I was keepin them entertained. But I was Brad G playin as Ryu.
That was my first tournament, but it was a ton of fun. If anyone is planning another event please post it, I’d like to go.
Good stuff everyone. We only came for 3s which wasn’t too great a turnout. But all in all I enjoyed it. Nice Urien btw, Young. I don’t get too much experience against him but now I want to play against him all the time to learn the match-up.
It was a good tourney nonetheless, although it doesn’t feel as good saying that I got second place in a six-man tourney…:lame:
