Ah ok I decided to play ranked. So… Beat everyone over 10k bp. Lost 2 matches to guys with 1000 BP from taking too many risks and getting ultra mashed out. So I’m at 96k bp now and like 34kPP. So mad I lost those two matches that was 200 PP gone right there lol. I’m off till Monday so I’m gonna try for 11000 by then.
I beat octopus on fire’s blanka on some fluke shit lmao. Shit went down to the wire… Dude is really, really good with blanka, but he may not know the matchup as well as a 20k blanka should… Anyway… Back to it…

But it’ll say “A”. Actually, I’m just impressed with the sheer massive amount of points you have. I’ve been stuck at C+ and 3800 bp forever. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve played more than 1500 matches since Super. I hate it when real life gets in the way of Street Fighter.
I stopped playing ranked. I start timing things weirdly and it ruins my irl game
Ranked is pretty much all I have. No offline scene to speak of around these parts.
Yeah, it’s annoying when you spend time practicing links only to be thwarted by lag. Hell, just today, the timing for something as simple as cr.LP, s.LP, c.LK must have changed on me from match to match. And each of those connections were GREEN! I guess not all greens bars are created equal. But my time is limited so I make do with what I have. It’s been one hell of an adjustment growing up in arcades then playing online. It’s too quiet. No din of other machines going off constantly and no other people shouting when some hype shit happens.
I have barely played online at all recently. I usually get together with some of the best players from my city (although Brisbane is quite a bit behind Melbourne and Sydney Australia) and play. It’s to the point where the guy that’s called Brisbanes #1 says that after he lives I’ll probably be the best Brisbane has to offer. I find this sad since I’m pretty inconsistent with my play. I think I’m becoming more stable at least.
However if you could save replays I believe I would have been able to get the perfect example of how to play against Cammy. Just too bad I couldn’t keep up the groove.
L-O-FUCKING-L. I just found out the flatscreen tv I’ve had for a couple of years has a “videogame” setting. Ya know, for cutting down that annoying scan lag. It’s so much easier to hit links and frame-tight set-ups. To think, my salt levels could have been reduced if I’d only taken a little bit of a closer look at my menus.
Still hovering aroun 14k. Losing some matches I have no business losing…got Abel down to 5 percent life then eat random Brainless and lose. Or the Bison who does four random Psycho Crushas and hits me with all of them. So salty.

I lost to a Guy player yesterday but it wasn’t legit. Connection was hit hitching up left and right. I got hit with his U2…I can literally count on one hand the number of times I have been hit by that Ultra. Was quite salty about it.
The biggest problem is NO ONE plays guy online. My mu knowledge is next to 0 with characters like guy,yun,Rufus, yang and it just hurts so much to lose to someone using those characters
I’m starting to think hakan has to be the worst match up for makoto. I hate that character so much
