Canonically, a few of the DS characters might stand a chance. Jedah, Pyron, Morrigan at full power.

He’s immortal and extremely powerful though(Doesn’t really matter in the obviously).
Dormammu in covers Ghost Rider, Holocaust and Blackheart.
Maybe even Pyron, Sunspot and other fire mainly based characters.

Why not? He’d be great and if they add Surfer or Namor, you’ll have the orginal Defenders(Strange,Hulk, Namor or Surfer).
For which they could do a cool sound quote, or whatever special team crap Nitsuma was talking about 
Hopefully they add Jedah to have an equal balance of bad@$$ for both sides(plus i really want Jedah) My one problem is Dormammu seems to use only fire, which though he uses it his sorcery has the ability to do so much more. The fire pillars are a good sign, as they are slightly different. I just want him to have a hyper that uses the mindless ones, and maybe one(possibly a level 3) where he traps the opponent in a rune type mystical trap then blasts them with a giant black and red energy blast, which itself is being surrounded by little demons which are also being launched. If done properly could be awesome. Also summoning Sattanish would be cool.
Cause they will probably match him up against Tessa and that would suck.

He summons some kind of darkness/void effect in one of the screenies (Can’t find it now unfortunately).
Except his Mystic Flame is his favorite form of attack. He also has a move that looks like he’s openings a portal in one of the screenshots.
Missed that screen thanks for pointing out. I know the flame is his favorite attack, i have no problem with him using it for a good amount of attacks, i was just pointing out that he did have more abilities and i didnt want him to just use the fire. Since you pointed out that he has shown more it does make me feel a bit better about it, so thanks for that. Mindless ones and a (though unlikely) sattanish apearence would still be cool though.

Edit: Also here’s your safe keepaway character, I like the little pop-away forcefield move he does at the end of the clip. Not flashy but looks damn useful, specially since it can combo into his super.
Edit again: It uses a bar, some kind of crash mechanic?
Edit 3 (yeah I’m obsessed with this move all of a sudden :p): It also does about a third of Chris’ life. There must be something further I’m missing, because that much damage + a pop-up + almost instant = freakin’ crazy.

I guess so, since there’s been some VA character interaction before. Like Cap calling Iron Man “Tony” etc.
I’m liking how you can use his moves to continue combos past knockdown and into his Chaotic Flame hyper.
I wonder though, in the keepaway department, will he work well with Doom and Trish (just so we can have Team DDT)?
I’ll miss Blackheart, I really did like that character…
That being said, there should be one more character sitting on a throne before the fight. That way, you could have Dormammu, Doctor Doom, and some other baddie starting off in 3 different chairs.
