There’s no shame in losing if you did your best, it only means the other dude played better. Just get the match footage if you can and learn something out of it.

K now I’m excited for the game. I truthfully didn’t care for the theme but that story mode actually looks fun, especially those boss fights and that made me get into the aesthetic a bit more.
I don’t know squat about the characters so I’ll need to keep an eye out for a character that interests me.
One question though, it’s fair to assume if they’d don’t have English VOs in the story, they’ll at least have English text and subtitles?

Your final standing on the tournament isn’t of big importance. Few if any of us here would make out of the pools or get top 128 on a tournament of the size of EVO.

If anyone at your local grocery store, or wherever, were to recognize you (which is pretty much impossible), it’s not like they’d laugh. They’d go “fucking eh, I saw you at Evo. That must’ve been fun! I’d love to go one day!”
Be proud man, it takes courage to go there, and you have the will to get bet better (pun mildly intended). Be proud of yourself man. We’re already proud of you.
