If a character has a ton of super safe stuff you can throw out there I always struggle, doesn’t matter the game

Best way to deal with Bison is to rush his ass down. Bison feeds on passive play cause he’s essentially always safe and building up grey life. Body that fool and don’t let him play or he’s gonna wash you.

I just suck at reading defense when I do get an opportunity. I’m way more comfortable dealing with neutral but Bison doesn’t play it like everyone else so my one strength with Ken dies and so does my chance at winning.
Getting better but it’s still my weakest point.
I play Falke. I am not rushing anyone down even if I want to.

I fought a plethora of Bison players this morning. From Brazil to everywhere. It felt like every other set was a Bison. A Bison took my 33 game win streak lol. Oh well. Gotta keep on keeping on.

Most of the problem is definitely me but Ken seems to have one hell of a time with it
A lot of it comes down to your approach, though. There was a point where I got washed by Bison on a regular and actually hated fighting him. Now it’s not an issue because I know what to look for. Many Cammy players (that I consider better than me btw) I know really don’t like fighting Bison in general.

Cammy can fight him kind of alright. Its honestly just too repetitive. Sort of like fighting Mika: super easy to end up in a bad position due to silliness.
But that’s sort of a general game issue against certain characters. If Rashid wants to get in, he can force you to take the -2 mix up by throwing out a random spinning mixer. Guess wrong on that and then you’re cornered for all practical reasons.

I know, not trying to make excuses. I’m just trash right now, and Bison brings out just how bad I am the best.
I screw up offensive opportunities so much 'cause I’m so bad at reading offense…or performing offense for that matter. I get too afraid of guessing wrong that I only alternate between the two safest options (meaty throw and shimmy) and never try anything else, and I have trouble getting that out of my system. And against Bison you can’t let any opportunity go to waste…and I let them go to waste all the time.
Rewatching the matches I was also playing like an idiot in general, was getting pissed off at that fact combined with how laggy it was…ugh. I have yet to fight a Bison with a decent connection and I’m already shit at reading people…

Another step forward. Though, I’m getting kinda worried about my progress…the online playerbase is really getting low. I fought and defeated the same Sagat 3 times to the point where I deranked him out of Ultra Platinum. Hopefully things stay alive enough for me to make proper progress and not just farm points off of players I can beat…
It was another night where I barely got any sleep so been fighting past that too. Got a 3 day weekend coming up so plenty of time to make up for the 2 missed days this week at least.
It’s easier to turn my brain off if my options are safe ones. Like playing Young Link and just running around throwing a billion projectiles at people XP
I play offensive and suddenly my actions carry more risk and I fear screwing up too much…and then wonder why I can’t open certain players up.
