Yeah, it was a bit different in my case (in Canada).
I figured it was fine to act quick because we were all online dating and looked desperate lol.
I will also say that all my messages were very inquisitive. I asked a lot of questions to try to get to know the girl and was honest in my reply back. I’d also type a bit about their answers, or answer the question myself so they got to know me too. I also always tried to joke a bit,
I’d then ask for her number so we can get to know each other and I’d set up a time to call so we’d both be free. I’d also give them my number so we were on a level playing field.

Lol. I’m doing exactly like what you mentioned. But no. Doesn’t work in Singapore.
I asked a few of my female friends who went on tinder. They said they eventually noped out of tinder.
And I asked them what’s wrong. And they said they were scared to meet strangers online.
They said they prefer if friends introduced guys to them. And it’s true. It’s Asian culture. Lots of my female friends get to know their husbands via friends.
Sigh I’m stuck in this shit conservative place.

See, this is where the hot/crazy matrix comes into play lol. Back 40 years ago, if you met someone hot the likelihood that they’re nuts wasn’t nearly as high as it is today. In my experience, the hottest ones online were also the ones who ghosted me. And I couldn’t tell, but they may have been cuckoo pants. I’m glad they went silent - totally did me a favor.
Girls who are into us and change their minds and then go silent aren’t worth it. Ghosting is so rude, immature and irresponsible; they can save that behavior for the next guy who will get devoured by her.
So instead of looking for the hottest one, I took @Bea_Iank’s advice and opted to talk to someone who’s like 7-8 hot and 4 crazy. Workin out so far.

@ToreyBeans Oh and I got catfished before. I don’t know if it’s the right term to use. Smoking hot 9/10 girl. Eventually found out that she was a fake. Her replies weren’t consistent.
Something about her dad leaving her family. And suddenly it was her mum who left her family. That was a major red flag.
Second was her birthday. She told me she was Virgo. And in June she told me she just celebrated her birthday.
3rd, she told me her surname is Wong. And she showed me her namecard. Her surname’s Lee.
I called her out on all 3 accounts and she’s remained silent since then. Probably some dude I was talking to.
