I’m just playing Sakura with Lucia. They are almost the same character.

Maybe not way better, but almost strictly better in every way. Most of the buttons, confirms, and general gameplan are the same. Fast walkspeed + good plus frames + good damage + Corgi calibur normals.
The biggest (and only?) think Sakura has on her is that sLK. Sakura is also arguably safer but, I just try not to do too much of the unsafe stuff.
Random thoughts:
Lucia Vskill is -8 on block. Hammer her when you block it.
Poison has that EX whip that leave the enemy standing and you +2. I think it might be really good, though I’m not an expert. I just hadn’t seen you do that yet.

Tried out a bunch of characters today.
Kolin doing Light Dandy Step out of -oB buttons is some fuckery.
Tried it with the VSkill but sometimes it is out of range. Maybe just need to st.MK.
Yeah I’m still trying to get stuff in memory. I keep doing the wrong EXs or not the ones I need to be doing at all.

At first I thought Lucia fireballs were weak, but they’re just different.
In fact, I actually think they’re better for what I use fireballs for (outside of c.MK cancels anyway)

Went to practise hitbox with a mission of doing 3 SPDs in a row.
Did that in 15 minutes. Even managed to do 4 in a row.
It is starting to feel more natural and my left hand is getting where the buttons are and which is which.

That’s fine for me. I usually throw fireballs at a distance to fuck with my opponent and force them to do something stupid. Being on the receiving end of them, I can tell that they’d work well for that.
