I face a most difficult conundrum.
I need to practise hitbox, but considering how atrociously bad I played last Tuesday, I also need to practise Falke for this Saturday and there is no way I will be even remotely ready to use hitbox in a tournament at such short notice. Stick it will be.
The solution is murky.

People have said hitbox can take a month or two to fully adapt to.
I’d say use your normal method for tournament and keep using hitbox outside of that until you are comfortable.
This means losing 3 days of practise with it, but alas, I guess it will have to be done.
I think most of the old mvc2 people in Toronto, such as Jiggabry, JS Master, Gerjay etc. aren’t really around anymore. I’m sure you could find some people to play if you really wanted to in Toronto.
I know where Stouffville is. I used to go past there to get to Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay.
Were you at Canada Cup 2018 at the convention centre? Maybe we have crossed pathes before. I don’t usually get to leave London for anything fighting game related.

I don’t know who was in charge before but I’m glad they have someone new who is making more interesting tweets and promoting the community. A lot of people on Twitch got even more viewers because Capcom Fighters sent them their way. Makes me wonder why it wasn’t being used this way from the beginning.

No, I was hoping to, but I wasn’t able to for some reason.
I’ve only really been to Raiders at Yonge and St Clair in Toronto. It is a great spot, but a hell of a commute in GTA weeknight rush hour so I haven’t been by in a bit but am I starting to miss going.
I’ve got an old Ryu meaty guide from S1 , some of is old now though. They took a lot of his meatys away.

Having a lot of fun with Lucia so far, especially with her 2 part fireball that can be situationally used to extending combos, allow some keepaway with 3 directional fireballs, and some blockstrings especially in the corner.
I mean it’s something we’ve never seen before, really cool

Raiders (or The Hive or whatever it was called) is a really cool place. I was there for a few Canada Cup after parties. Seen some funny stuff and had some great conversations with FGC folk there.
Saw certain figureheads rip big bong tokes in the alleyway beside that place lol
