Him being able to combo after his lvl 3 is gonna be crazy because its gonna allow for the longer combos we’ve been seeing. But wouldnt he need an assist to do the longer combos after the lvl3 cuz sure hellfire otgs but can you combo after it?
Maybe he says something different each time? I remember really distinctly hearing Rides Again in one video, but then in another it sounded a little different.

I would be quite content if his Penance Stare did extra damage on ‘evil’ characters as opposed to ‘good’ characters.
Why? In the comics, Penance Stare does not hurt the victim physically, just emotionally. Actually, now that I think about it, Zero would be angsty as hell if he had to relive WHATAMIFIGHTINGFOOOOOOR over Iris again.
Besides, we don’t need trivial balance changes like those.

@ Wren - I think every Ghost Rider fan would love that (Wesker should top the list,) but then you’d get fanboys whining about the damage scaling and how only “certain teams” would have a chance against him. Me, I’d just be happy if I saw a trailer of Akuma “Looking into his eyes…”
I’m not sure where that puts me then. I’d take more realistic balance changes for Ghost over a small nod to us as his fans. You know what happens to characters who get snitched on by the more stubborn members of this community, right? They get neutered. I don’t want poor Johnny to become what happened to Sentinel. T_T

Now I wish that Blazing Skull was in this game so I can have a team consisting of characters with flaming heads. Which makes me think Felicia will likely recycle her line against Dorm with Ghost Rider.
I plan on having Ghost Rider and Hawkeye on the same team. I wanted a defensive assist but since lariat and gustoff flame got nerfed I have no idea where to go for one.
Hidden Missiles or Jam Session are the best bets for defensive assists ATM.
Sadly, I asked the MVC3 VA manager (forgot his name) on the SDCC stream if Felicia says that same line to Ghost Rider (Hey, your head is on fire!) and the VA sitting next to him said she doesn’t.
Does Ghost Rider have a dash? Or is it more of a hop like Dormammu?
I’m thinking Joe’s Shocking Pink assist would be godlike for Ghost Rider. The range on his chain will propel the bomb from any distance and can easily extend his ground or normal jump combos.

With Shocking Pink, does it still cause damage to you? If it’s still there I don’t see it being worth the risk

Dormammu Dr Strange and Ghostrider man. Also Something I havent seen anyone mentioning but in every video I have seen if you block GR’s Chain attacks you take chip damage. I dont mean his specials I mean anytime he swings that chain at you wonder if they will leave it like that.
If Ghost Rider can keep you in blockstun from fullscreen AND propel the bomb forward, the opponent will have a really hard time tossing it back. I don’t know how many normals in the game can knock a SP back from fullscreen either.
