Is that regency thing a real deal cus ive hit up my homies who practically live there and they say they dont knwo what im talkin about. how often does that guy bring his set up?
looks like we just need a consistent venue and the events will come.
Big Juan told me that on Fridays around six he brings his set up to Regency and plays SSF4. He said that there are around 10 ppl who join in and play.
I never been because I have my own thing going in Torrance with Don’s Arcade on Fridays around the same time. I would like to go but I got a scheduling conflict.
I go to Regency once in a while but I never been to the SSF4 Fridays. You’ll have to go on a Friday and check it out. Because I too would like someone in the area to confirm this as well.

Also Wes (Blockable Laser, great fighting game player) plays there when they get the set up running so that’s something to look forward to. I’m not sure about the rest of the crew, but for the most regency players are elite. I should know, I’m the grand daddy of regency.
PrimeTimeGamers is offering a venue in Compton (in a safe area next to the police/fire dept.) at an office building type place and he’s got up to 8 set ups, we just need to provide our own controllers/sticks. Compton isnt that much further away, its in Long Beach (County) area anyways… we might as well all get together there instead…

Every time I go I just see a few people playing Marvel. There is a big black dude there, a dude that always smells like weed and some other dudes that I don’t remember too well.
