I played 3 games at tesco on wed and I have to say that 2p side is trash. The jlf is beat to shit.I lost each match but know 100% it was because of the stick being screwed up. I play exclusively on a jlf at and never mess up simple things like a fireball motion, but I was at tesco.

John Stirges owns Casino. he ownse the entire building its in, and own electrocoin. Its a family business he inherited from his dad. His sons will take it over. Casino is and always will be the #1 Arcade in Europe. It will never close as long as that building stands, that’s on his word.
Right now HMVGamerbase in Troc complex is the best ‘Arcade’ for SSFIV and console only games.

I’ve been there once before just before ssf4 came out and hardly anyone was there. I’ve been to the gamerbase in troc a few times but its on xbox. I’m a PS3 user and I play Sakura on Pad and Rose/Bison etc on stick(Ps3 mad catz).
How can I get involved with the community? I tried joining the NeoEmpire forum twice already but it never lets me finish the sign up. Its near impossible for me to get involved with any offline experience. I’d really like to though cos I like close by. (Elephant & Castle).
Also is there a good converter maybe for PS3 to Xbox? Or has Casino got ssf4 on PS3?
Does anyone know when Casino, or if Casino, is going to get AE - the place has been dead for ages, they have 6 SFIV cabs sitting doing not much? That place was super before super came out. Come on!

And Polic, I hear ya on Troc XD The damn stick feels like:
1: It has a circle or even NO restrictor plate.
2: Iirc, the P2 side, the balltop feels like a 2 year old tried to use it as a gobstopper. And the entire thing just felt like it didn’t work XD. Oh and the balltop on the P1 side for me kept unscrewing.
This was back in October though, take it they haven’t changed any of it? Mad respect to their CvS2 cabs though (If they don’t have them there anymore I.WILL.KILL).
Looks like Casino wont be getting AE for a while now.Give it a month or two at least,it might show up on the aftermarket.
Owner says its too expensive at the moment.Cost 8 grand for one 2 player setup.There were talks of them and Trocadero going half and half on some machines but it didnt happen.
Put away your Makotos and Hakans for now folks.
That sucks! Surely the SF4 cabs are going to burn in because of there under use. It’s a shame, Casino was a nice place to go with that setup.

I’ve given up on troc. The button configuration for ST is still messed up, and this is after I told them to fix it several times, 6 months ago.
Trocadero now has an SSFIV AE setup. 1 pound per credit, 2 sit down cabs for versus.
casino has had AE for a while but people stopped playing it because it was broken.
Casino now has 3 versus setups with 2 credits for a pound. Two of the setups are one cabinet for each person and the other is one cabinet with 1p and 2p controls on it.
Anyone interested in having a sparring partner online in the shape of me?

we’ve looked around online, and have found funland and trocadero?
However the site said funland is closed, and I can’t find confirmation on trocadero’s website

Casino on Tottenham Court Road (easily accessible from subway stations Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street) has it according to posts above, though I personally haven’t been back to London in a year. Top floor of that place is all gambling machines, but there’s a staircase on your right as you walk in that’ll take you down to the games.
Trocadero does have it, but has a poor reputation for maintaining their cabs, so might not be the best place to go. Also, they tend to be more expensive anyway.
casino’s dead, whenever i go there all i see is a bunch of pikies playing pacman.
We’ll see what we can do,
at the very least we’ll be able to play each other at the casino, as it’ll be the only FGs we’ll play on vacation
