Hey everybody, im new in london. Here for school. I put in a request to be a part of your super exclusive and cool facebook group. Where do you guys usually meet? Is there room for another scrub?
Hey man, glad to hear, always room for more players! Recently we have been meeting Fridays at Ryan (AvericeX`s) apartment although sometimes we still meet at the UCC on Thursday, but that is pending on interest. Basically you will get more out of the facebook group, so as soon as you are added by Bishop, we can start a dialogue there to get you better informed with all the info you needs!
I figured that I would just update the current SRK page so that we don’t waste page space on the current Canada forum. Also because we don’t really use the page other than for attracting stragglers that don’t know about the Facebook page.
Once we figure what we will be doing in the New Year, I will update the post above with all the new detail for Ryan`s apartment and what we will be doing about “Thursday” casuals.

There will be a draw for a set of weekend passes for Anime North and a set of passes for Toryuken III

I’m from St. Thomas (still a high school student I reckon) and really want to get into the SF4 and UMVC3 scene here in London, since I’ll be moving there in July. Is there a set age limit to getting in?
Hey guys, no worries on the age limit thing. We meet every Friday at Ryan`s apartment(AvericeX). Anything else that is advertised on this page are events that you are welcome to attend.
Basically the primary location of this scene is either at Ryans place or the University Community Centre at Westerns campus. Check my post at the top which has our Facebook forum where we discuss events and casuals. If you have a Facebook account, feel free to join and shoot us a introduction and feel free to come out to our Friday casuals, we are more than welcoming.
If you don’t have Facebook, I would suggest just making an account just for that group to stay in touch and active, SRK forums unfortunately are going the way of the dinosaurs as much as I would prefer to use SRK, but now we are redirecting people to the Facebook forum. If not, you can keep active on here if you like, just hope we check it more frequently.

No there’s no age limit on coming out to the Poacher’s Arms. You just can’t drink alcohol while you’re there. But there’s lots of food and non alcoholic drinks you can buy while you’re there

The only reason we have an SRK is to get random London players out.
We play formal casuals once a week on Thursdays at the UCC on campus of the University of Western Ontario. We occasionally meet up for another session throughout the week. We have players who play everything at just about every level, but I’d say UMVC3 and SF4 are our most popular games. We have old-school players who love Super Turbo, 3s and MVC2, and we have quirky-game players that play the anime games. You name it we’ll play it.
If you’re interested we can organize a way to get you a ride to casuals for Thursday. We generally have enough systems for everyone, but if you can bring your own arcade stick or controller that would be perfect, though we definitely will have some for you.
