Guys, I couldn’t fall asleep last night, and so I thought more about how we’re gonna do these team Ranbats.
After we select teams tomorrow (by drawing paper slips out of a hat), each team is gonna decide who is gonna rep what game. Then, we’ll start. This is how it’s gonna go. The format is gonna be First to 10 wins (FT10), where each game counts as a win. Teams have to pick an order each time they play a game (or a set), and they have to stick to that order. If one team loses, then the game resets, and so the order resets. I’ll explain it better tomorrow. Loser can switch character/team (CVS2), but winner cannot change character/team/team order/super/ISM. If we have 2 TV’s tomorrow, I say we have casuals on one for people who don’t wanna watch games they’re not interested in, and the Ranbat runnin on the other TV. I will be bringing my secret diary to write all the results down and keep things legit. That is all, question is, Istvan you bring your TV tomorrow? And when do we meet?
Stuff we need for tomorrow:
-2 tube tv’s (lag is unacceptable for these meetings, I’m sorry, but for the Ranbat games, only no lag TV’s.
-2 PS3’s
-2 controllers
-2 copies of SF4 (I can bring one if needed), CVS2, Alpha Anthology, AE, and HDR (installed on one of the PS3’s)
PS. Corry, get Matt on SRK please. Also, if you guys have any friends interested in SF, please do us all a favour and get them posting on SRK and coming to these meetings Thursday. The more, the merrier, and the better we will all get since the competition will skyrocket.
PPS. I’m gonna bring my TE stick, a PS3 controller, and my camera to tape the matches (but only once a team reaches 8 wins…it would take too long to tape every match).
