I don’t want to live on this planet anymore. Glad he got killed, sad that the little girl had to die.
Reading things like this just breaks my heart.
D:
People are so cruel and awful…

Man’s inhumanity towards man knows no bounds.
Father of killer wants to sue France police for killing his son. Gotta be joking…
Anyway, I understand why and have no problem with people singling out incidents/deaths like this, but there is so much killing going on that it’s just crazy. It’s not like it’s anything new to life, but it’s just crazy. Syria alone had thousands of deaths these last few months. Just gotta try to speak out against and not contribute to the craziness, and believe that someday shit will be fine. Damn sure not in our lifetime though.

I thought that was why we made the Horrible News Thread
It’s my comfort that there’s special spots in Hell for people like him, Hitler, the Kim dynasty, and bin Laden. All of them got the easy way out of life, and to say there’s no punishment waiting for them after they leave this earth for the atrocities they committed would be an atrocity in itself.

This makes me hope, really bad, that Dec. 21, 2012 really is the end.
Different strokes, different fears. In the end neither of us know or can know who’s right and we both think that the potential end for this guy is pretty terrible and not something that anyone would want to go through. Main difference is that I think everyone goes through the same fate but them’s the breaks.
There may be some pretty shitty people out there… OK, a lot of really shitty people. I like myself too much to wish for my own existence to end just so I can drag them down with me, though.
There are also plenty of scientific geniuses and humanitarians at the other end of the bell curve who spend their time striving to significantly better the world.
bih.
i said it before…and i’ll say it again. everyone needs therapy. everyone should see a therapist at least once a month. if you say you don’t need one, then without question you are the one most in need of seeking therapy.
As much as I take some solace in that truth, it’s also sad how much more energy it takes to untangle the injustices while persistent social entropy always persists. We’ve come a long way, and yet still find ourselves back at square one day after day.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m also aware of the technological impetus- creating our nonstop global media network, also aids in not only keeping the masses abreast of current events, but also exposes us to the ills of the world at a rapid fire pace; further plaguing our minds with cyclical cynicism.

If you’re going to be wary of Islam ppl then you should be wary of everybody. Stupid asses come in all different shape sizes and religions. for example, you’re a stupid ass average american white/black boy who sees a white girl get shot by some middle east guy so you stereotype that group and make racists comments towards them. U C DAT! we’re all stupid asses sometimes, and some stupid asses kill people when they’re stupid asses so we shouldn’t judge ppl because they have a different religious belief then us or because their skin is different. because deep inside, DEEP INSIDE we’re all humans man… y’know, so next time you see an islam guy walk up to him and shake his hand, and if he blows himself up at least there’s 2 less stupid asses in the world.
and the fuck up part of this is just like zimmerman case, this probably happen on often and but are not reported. I wouldn’t be surprise if its advocated in certain earth regions. The word is messed up and this is just the tip of very… VERY BIG ICEBERG.
Abandon hope. Take action.
That’s fucked up. SHE’S 8 GODAMMIT! 8!! FUCKING SCREWUP!
In that regard, I think we have a lot of unacknowledged responsibility to ourselves. Obviously, if we passively allow images to wash over us from whatever source happens to be in front of our faces, then whomever controls those images controls our ideas about the world. They control the narrative.
If we actively engage the narrative and consider critically what we’re being shown, and perhaps even make an effort to seek out and surround ourselves with other images that foster a counter-narrative, a different mentality will emerge.
The majority of the people aren’t going to commit a murder or split the atom anytime soon. They’re relatively neutral in the grand scheme. That’s why I like to use the term “regular people”–people who are just trying to make their way in an increasingly mediated society that tends to reflect our capacity for evil more than our equally great capacity for good.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?
Just is so sick and heart wrenching. Glad he got taken care of though.
Having lived in a muslim country before, I feel really sorry for them that extremist often twist their religion to do such cruel things because they’re actually really really nice people.
This kind of event really gives them a bad image as usual
Agreed. Extremists of any kind are nothing beneficial to any religion, race, gender, etc. It’s tragic and I’m praying for that girl is at peace.
We all know this World was going to Hell long before we were even born, and with the mentality people harbor today, its almost guaranteed we all just got upgraded to first class tickets.
