I think if you didn’t live so far away, you might have gotten more interested people. That said, I’m sure you’d enjoy attending some of the tournaments that go on in Elk Grove, Davis, or even central Sac from time to time. Meet a few of us, get to know when other sessions are going down, etc…
Ok guys, so my buddy just moved and he asked that this time we have only the regular group at the house. When we our next one I might have it at my house which is in Auburn. I think once I’ve met u then I’ll be cool with u coming over. It sounds like slap-a-hoe is willing to have sessions over at his place too. This thread should hopefully keep active so we can keep the scene alive here in NorCal and one of us could win some of those bigger tournys that are up in Elk Grove or Davis. I’m tired of seeing the same top 8 of almost every tourny.

I think he’s spoiled from SoCal - people are always playing haha. That’s one thing SoCal has over NorCal - constant and consistent competition available. Sounds exciting.

Slapahoe, I live in rocklin. Let me know when you want to have a session and we can try to set something up. If you like mma, you should host mma/ssfiv parties. Charge 5 bucks a person for the fight and I’m sure everyone can scrounge up some money for beer and little ceasers!

Well I’m now in Rocklin. I don’t really have time to play (haven’t touched SF4 since January) but I’ll be done with my Master’s in a month and be looking to play occasionally.
I plan on building a SSF4 cab for the MUGA, and I’ll probably build one for my garage as well, so when that happens I’ll let you all know.
That being said the OP seems very aggressive in getting something together. I’d suggest going to Davis, Tim or Romeo’s tourney if you really want meet some people to set things up.
