Limit Breaks?

^ Wheres that DVD nigga

wouldn’t the best example on how to break a flying screen is to use an assist? or is that simply disrupting the FS?

anyway, using the thanos capture assist with guile: launch, sj.lp, lp, fp, [flying screen occurs] opponent lands on the bubble, [Flying screen is disrupted], guile can now launch and air combo again.

Dhalsim and shuma are 2 other decent examples.

Sim in corner: launch, sj.lp, lk, lp, lk, air dash back, far sj.fk [Flying screen], delay, far sj.fk, land, pause, s.lk, s.lk, s.fk XX yoga strike. The super doesnt hit, but its just to show the LB/FSD had been done because you are doing a super after the FS occured.

Shuma in corner: launch, sj.lp, U+fp [FS], pause, D+fp, land, s.lk[otg, FSD/LB], s.lk, sj.lp, lp, u+fp, pause, + u+fp, land, j.lp, j.u+fp.

The problem with these combos is that there is discussion that it could be a sort of ‘glitch’. Game makers probably didnt think about hitting the opponent with 2 far FKs in one sim combo. So, the FS in that situation might not last as long. Also, this could be why its not too character dependent.

The Shuma combo is similar I think because I dont think game makers took into thought the idea of someone using 2 fierces in one combo…especially since the fierces cause the FS. So, in the corner combo, the d+fp is done during the FS, but just like the sim combo it might not last as long, which allows for the lk > super or relaunch to combo in.

Also, note that the timing for these examples are not very strict at all.

I think that if IM or WM’s U+fp caused the FS and the opponent into a similar state as Shuma’s u+fp, then a similar FSD/LB combo would be possible.
