I know this is a stupid question, but if a professional organization is “sponsoring” a tournament and pot, why does there need to be a buy-in at all? Least of all a more expensive one?
- The tournament prize structure is much higher and more players get paid regardless of the turnout.
- This isn’t the NBA or World Series of Poker.
- You don’t have to enter the tournament, you can participate in casuals if you prefer.
- It’s not a stupid question, you are free to speak your mind here anytime.
