Hey a question about Start time for registration, the event and SSF4.
If I can’t make it till about 9 or 9:30, I will still be able to pay and walk in to play/watch until the SSF4 regimen starts yeah? Just want to double check.
Do we need to bring our own sticks?
I can help with that. You don’t HAVE to, but you should. It’s a BYOS event, and if a lot of people come expecting to use other people’s sticks… it becomes a hassle, especially for people like me who don’t like to leave their stick at a station when I want to go and check out some of the other games.
In short, bring yours if you can. You need to for tournaments so it’s good practice.

This place is the NEW SPOT for SOCAL FIGHTING GAMERS. NO JOKE!
It’s so beautiful going up there and the vibe was real chill. The $2.5 beer special was where it was at and I’m sure everyone had fun.
Mr. Valle, your vision for the fighting game scene is going to be realized real soon. I know that place will be packed with MvC3 players, Tekken, BlazBlue, and SSF4. Really, this is the new place for EVERYONE to head out to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT 5 out of a mother fucking 5.
The parking lot is big, the staff was friendly, real down to earth feeling. You guys had a DJ that was lighting it up. Watching HDR champions going at it one more time was hot. I mean the night isn’t even over and it’s still going on!!
Put simply, the Level|Up team brings it to another level ONCE AGAIN! You guys have my respect for the time and effort you guys are bringing to the table.
The sponsors were real cool! Throwing out free stuff to the crowd and bringing that hype. I mean what they represented is a big step towards getting that negative view of our fighting game scene.
For you guys who don’t know what I’m talking about!
I can see your dream Alex, make it happen! I’ll be there next week. FUCKING GREAT EVENT! If you were there, you know the potential for this stuff is going to be BIG!

GGs to everyone tonight. Great venue Alex Valle. It’s a little of a drive but I love how its set up. The Launch Party food was bomb… I should’ve gotten seconds but was too eager to get some gaming in. Thanks to everyone who showed up tonight to make it such a wonderful event and thanks to all the solid players who repped all their games tonight. I’m looking forward to next week and playing in Pool A.

W-O-W !!! what a night!!! for the people who didn’t go…you guys need to check this place out next week…the venue is just too good…I mean free parking, cheap booze, lots of set-ups, Live DJ, top of the line competition…simply Amazing…with all our support i can hardly see any stop for this…once word spreads out…this place is going to be the place to go IN THE COUNTRY!! for top training…

The venue was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and hey, they actually care about getting exposure to non-SF scenes. I like this a lot (despite the long drive), and will definitely work to get the socal BB scene to show up in full force. Truly excellent job Mr. Valle.
Also, shoutouts to that guy playin’ cody. He ain’t the best though. He said so himself.
